Btw, for images, right click the img you want to use, and select "copy image URL". Then put that link between img tagsto display it.

Also, for the installation, you can use AIDA's setup file which has everything already in english.

Wow, do I feel stupid. Sigh, well it's downloaded and I didn't see your reply until after. I'm downloading AIDA's now. Should I uninstall PSO2 and keep AIDA's?

(Thanks! I didn't know how to do the picture thing, being new and all.)

I just love how many people accidentally uninstall the game when they're done all the downloading.

In the end it's basically the same thing. Keep the install you have. You can use AIDA's tweaker to apply the english patches.

Kay. I've done all of that. The only two problems are it keeps saying the story patch isn't installed, but I did install it, and every time I launch it I click to get passed the openings (even if i let it run it doesnt work) after the second click it pops up this

I've disabled my firewall to see if that'd help and apparently it didn't. I've invested so many hours into this I don't want to give up haha. Plus I REALLY want to play it.

Also, I've done analyze install for issues on Tweaker and nothing showed up. It said everything was fine. Yet the game still closes after the second click.

Just wondering if you could help or have any idea why it would be doing this.

Not entirely sure about this. If you're graphics card can't handle the game's shaders, that causes the game to close for some people, so make sure they're on simple. Other than that, make sure direct x is installed, drivers are up to date and that kind of thing. Happened to me yesterday on a new computer, that's my only advice for what it could be.

Okay, let's get this issue of yours fixed now...back to square one!

First, if you haven't done so already, install Phantasy Star Online 2 on your system. When the INITIAL install is finished (the vanilla version that hasn't received any patches yet), go into Windows Explorer > Computer > Windows (C) > Program Files (x86) > SEGA > PHANTASYSTARONLINE2 > pso2_bin > data > win32. You should have all of those folders, even without the patches from the launcher.

Next, follow this link to download the latest version of AIDA's PSO2 Tweaker: http://arks-layer.com/aida/tweaker/PSO2%20Tweaker.exe

If you're using Chrome, this part is easy. The download should be setup to default to your Downloads folder under your User Account. Go into there, right-click the PSO2 Tweaker.exe, and select Copy.

Now, create a new folder on your desktop and label it 'Phantasy Star Online 2' or 'PSO2' (whatever floats your boat). Inside of that folder, create another folder and label it as 'PSO2 Tweaker'. Open that folder up, right-click, and select Paste to copy the executable file to that folder. Then, launch PSO2 Tweaker FROM THAT SAME FOLDER YOU COPIED IT TO. This same location is where you will launch the game itself later on in the final step.

When Tweaker is open, a few dialog boxes may pop-up. One of them should ask you to setup the location of your win32 folder. If nothing happens upon boot-up, just click on the Orb in the upper-left and Select PSO2 win32 folder. Search for the folder, select it, and click OK.

Then, open the Orb's menu again and click on Check for PSO2 Updates. Tweaker will now begin installing the most recent vanilla JP files. Feel free to take a tea break...it will take a while to finish installing all of those files because it's installing a year's worth of game updates.

When that's done, click on the Orb > Install/Update Patches > English Patch. When that patch is done installing, repeat the process, but click on English Large Files instead. Doing this will allow Tweaker to automatically overwrite the JP files with the English translation patches.

The next part is manual, however...

Contrary to the English Patch and English Large Files, the English Story Patch requires you to torrent the file to download all of the necessary English files into a RAR. I would recommend downloading uTorrent for the job (it's free), but other ones work fine too.

Afterwards, re-open your PSO2 folder on your desktop and create another folder labeled 'Story Patches'. This is where the following Story Patch download and future ones should go for your own records and to keep things from getting nasty.

You can download the latest English Story Patch here: http://arks-layer.com/Story%20Patch%...13.rar.torrent

Once again, your life is made easy with Chrome. If you have Chrome, uTorrent should already be recognized as the default program to open the downloaded file in and all you have to do to start the download process is simply click on the finished download in Chrome. It will immediately ask you where you want it to be downloaded to. Select the same folder labeled 'Story Patches' in your PSO2 folder on your desktop, hit OK, and it'll begin downloading. When that download is done in uTorrent, close and exit out of the program (you may have to go and click the Show hidden icons button at the bottom-right of your Windows Taskbar and right-click the icon for uTorrent and select Exit from there).

Open back up your PSO2 folder > Story Patches. You should see a file that says 'Story Patch 8-8-2013.rar'.

Open back up Tweaker again, go to the Orb's menu, Install/Update Patches > English Story Patch. Find the file you just downloaded to your PSO2's Story Patches folder, select it, and click on OK. If everything is done right, you'll see an MS-DOS prompt display with the installation progress.

After that is done, go back into Orb menu, make sure the Item Translation Patch is ticked on, and then hit the button that says 'PSO2 Options'. If you're running this game on a low-end machine, I recommend setting the game to low settings. If you have a powerhouse PC like mine, blast that shiz sky-high.

Make sure to check that the game is opening in a full-screen mode or virtual full-screen (virtual is the best option if you plan on Alt + Tabbing out of the game a lot). Mess with the volume sliders to your liking, then click on OK. Your settings will be saved.

Click on the button that says 'Launch PSO2' afterwards. Everything should be running fine after that.
