    OK guys, so we finally know what Photon Crystals are good for.

    Within a certain time limit, and in exchange of a Photon Crystal, you will be granted the right to kill and maim as many ennemies as possible. Of course, the screenshots show rare ennemies in there - but that doesn't mean you will always see some. I guess it will make them easier to find though - it's like FIY, but with other monsters...
    You will be awarded some items randomly at the end of the quest, depending on your score and on the difficulty. ST announced that there would be "valuable items as well as new items" in the lot.

    If you're going "oh noes I have yet to find a Photon Crystal", don't worry, you will be given one during the maintenance next week, IF you have a Hunter License.

    The Underground Desert version of that quest is likely to come up next month. (speculation on my part)

    Sonic Team is trying to make people keep playing the game! Make things difficult to obtaion so you have to constantly play the game motnhs at a time. ;D

    hmm, I thought PCs were for adding hit% to weapons?

    It's only a rumour. If that were true, Gallon Shop would have the option available, wouldn't it?

    Maybe it will be in the future, but as of now, the "increases Hit %" thing is only theory.

    Releasing an item that could increase hit % would absolutely kill any and all value most people have for their hard earned weapons.

    I am not quite sure about the adding hit%

    Think about it, Honestly...

    100% hit Daylight Scars
    100% hit Guldmilla's
    100% hit Sealed J swords
    100% hit Yungchang
    100% hit etc, etc, etc

    come on, creates a larger inbalance( saying that what do ST know about balance u.u)

    and they are dropped in normal which is a bit easy..

    It may happen, but with this quest giving a use, i am not sure!

    but, 100% hit item sure would be nice

    Since it seems that they are showing a few pictures of rare enemies for seemingly little reason on its own, perhaps there will be some sort of thing like increased rare enemy rate, or perhaps even places where a rare enemy is 'forced', or always spawns (for example, Dorphon Eclair always spawning at that one particular point of the quest in the screenshot).

    Although a 1/21-22 chance from rare enemy drop for a single chance at a quest seems a bit unusual.

    PCs drop in Normal, sure, but at 1/11624 >_>

    Why did everyone say PCs add hit%? I was already dreaming of hit% on Bringer's Rifle ._.
