No, there is not a race bonus with the master types.

nope, and honestly i'm glad. even though we'll have higher PA lvls, we loose some bonus which gives us a different style to play, there's still going to be a need for forteclasses for sure especially techer they're gonna be pretty nice later on IMO

Even without the racial bonuses master jobs still have higher damage output than the corresponding forte job when the race with the bonus for the latter is used. Simply due to the faster attacking speeds and higher PA level cap.

Even so, many people would still rather play a forte or even a hybrid over a master simply because the limited weapon selection can hurt in certain cases. Masterforce sees this the most (sorry Midori) since most people want to be able to support well while nuking.

if you just look at high level players, most of em are a master type. who needs variety in weapons when you can kill monsters very fast w/ just a few of em?

comparing FM to FF is a joke. FM will get to the monsters first thanks to using tornado dance, then he will use either majarra or jabroga and completely slaughter everything. when the FF arrives on the scene, he uses slicer or handgun in a desperate attempt to tag a few monsters before they die.
if the FF is there when monsters spawn, he will most likely use majarra or jabroga, which are slow and crappy. i bet its extremely difficult for FF to actually hit anything w/ its super slow jarbroga. the monsters will die before you can hit. unless there is a mission w/ about 3 de rol le bosses in it, FM is a lot better. talk about variety in weapons all you want but when it comes down to it, all you do is kill monsters. FM is better at killing monsters, simple as that. its the same idea for the other master types.

you play on jp ver but i guess you havent played w/ any good MFs yet. besides buffs, MF can do a decent job of support w/ resta & regene. regene especially has a nice range. MF really isnt that bad at support. FT and MF play almost the exact same, but MF is better.

and to stay on topic here, the master types dont have racial bonuses so cast may actually be a better FM than beast.
