In theory, you should always be using Talis in conjunction with a Rod, but since Tails is a difficult weapon to master, people don't. A Talis FO/TE tree is rather identical to your bog standard FO/TE tree, but you get stuff like Talis Tech Bonus and Talis Fast Throw instead of Rod specific skills like Rod Shoot.

Fire/Light/Dark is the most common FO/TE build due to high concentration of Light Weak content as well as Fomelgion damage. Some people buy extra trees for speccing into specific elements, like Wind and Ice.

For a FOTE: Blazing Gifoie. We already rapid fire cast fire tech, at this point, you want damage.

Concentrated Gifoie would be better for a JB BO for quickly switching element. Or if someone wanted to be fancy with their character if they have main or sub of TE for melee or SU and wanted to use it for the stun lock effect. But then, I'd rather thrown down a nagrants bubble field.

Ep4 changed it so that you can buy it from the photon exchange shop.
I believe it was 50 photon spheres for 1 CT iirc.

can i not unlock it from her anymore? i'd rather not waste photon spheres. i had already completed matter board 3 before getting to lvl 70. will that affect it? also i just finished chapter 2 on on episode 1. do i need to be in episode 3(story wise, not matter board)?
