Hey guys, I'm new around here and I would like to ask about a problem I'm having. After fighting many errors I finally managed to be able to play the game, however for some reason, unless I play on settings as "1" or "kill" the shaders, I am unable to see any of the characters (mine and npc's).
I'd like to apologise if this question was already answered somewhere in the forums, I have been looking but I was unable to find it that is why I'm asking now =\
My drivers and DirectX are all up to date and I'm sure my specs arent the problem, and I'd really liike to enjoy the game at a higher quality, can you help me? =)

I tried the ways you suggested, I was able to run perfectly at "5" without shaders on and characteres were there, but without them on the visuals are a bit "flat" if I'm making sense compared to videos I've seen on youtube.

My computer should run the game at least "3" perfectly with shaders on (doesn't get slowed down nor anything) it's just that the characters don't show up, only their accessories if they have any like hats etc... =\

I love this game, just finished tutorial and if I have to play without shaders I don't mind, but if there's a way to fix it then I'd prefer that =P

If you do reformat your computer there's a site/tool 'ninite' that helps install most of the trivial stuff that made it easier for me.

I'd be interested to know your results when / if you uninstalled ZA and if the error stopped. After switching AV/Firewall be sure to restart and I'd go so far as to run the file check on the PSU Launcher (3rd button) as another precaution.

Yes it is. Just ran the IR and we ran into 5 Rares in first 3 runs. Finding rare bosses can be super common or near impossible as it's all RNG for the most part. Finding level 16 disc can be the same. I got a level 16 disc my first rare encounter and another during the IR.

Colour change pass allows you to change CAST part colours (and skin if Female Cast), and allows you to re-colour non-special costumes (not all-race).

When recolouring, you are given a slider so you can pick any colour from the RGB spectrum.

Some MB orders require to kill a mob/boss to drop a specific weapon/unit.

To make it easier, Sega changed the MB system so we could clear adjacent orbs without specifically select them.

This isn't true. It isn't a 100% drop rate, it's just an increased drop rate. I've tested this myself on multiple occasions (i.e. requiring a Dagan kill and having killed 3 Dagans before it finally dropped).

Just copying the files is enough. The updater will need to re-check the files once they're on another machine, but won't have to download anything. And if the game fails to start afterwards, it's much more likely to have been caused by Gameguard than by copy/pasting.

2. i'm playing on the vita, and is the only to take a picture to hold start and press the Playstation button? ( i also noticed that its basically a just as u see it screen cap, so to get rid of the start menu popping up, i hit start once, then hit start again (holding it this time for the picture), and that gets the menu to go away. but is there a way to get a picture like the one above? where there is no interface getting in the way?

For hunter, JA bonus, Fury Combo, Fury Stance Up 1, and Fury Stance are a most have if you are going for pure damage aka cookie cutter builds.

Fury Stance Up 2 is optional but requires you to have 5sp into Fury Stance Critical. If you don't invest into Fury Stance Up 2 and Fury Stance Critical, then I suggest invest into Just Guard or Halfline.


I still haven't seen one ;_;
In my experience, they primarily appear in PSE bursts and I heard that they can appear for code captures? But I met it twice with both encounters during a Cross Burst.

Because it was "normal". The SH version actually hurts but the fact that it is not very aggressive only gives it a huge setback. It still dies in less than 1-2 minutes though basing on the encounter.

No. The B room is not available to non premium. If that was the case, I would not see an AC icon next it. Non Premi have a mini room that doesnt allow themes and such tho.

When I go to the options in my room, its listed like this:

I just started PSO 2 and applied all the recent patches including the Large Files. When I'm in the Lounge All the stores and Computer AI names are still in Japanese and when I see youtube videos all their stuff is in english and I reapplied the english patch and story patch. I've been struggling for a week to make my own post or thread and couldn't find out how and when I asked questions on a different post I get no responses. How can I fix this?

Are u talking about the pads on the sides of those rocks in Riripa ta? The ones that if go past them, it traps you in an area that u can get out of by killing the sparguns and Gilnach core.

Yea, those passes are used to also unlock side rooms if I remember correctly. I think it was the 4th or 5th option from the top of the room terminal. It should give a list of all 3 rooms to choose and since you don't have the extra rooms, the lower two in the list should be blank and gray out.

i can't edit or look around at the moment. Kinda busy, but there was a PSU hierarchy chart somewhere. And i don't think Apevia is a quality one.
As for CPU, Intel is better for per core performence while amd is better for overall use of all cores that programs take advantage of(may be wrong on part of this).

Alright, thanks. I think I will just get a OCZ OCZ700MXSP 700W one. As it doesn't seem to be poor quality and has been being used in various gaming builds it seems. So fairly popular. Not to mention Linus (even though 2010 v-made) made a review for the PSU. I'd just assume it's going to work fine.

If nobody responds to you directly, try going to block 20 (assuming you are on ship 2) and just shouting in the lobby u are going to do H TACOS. While a majority of people there do VH I've seen people gathering for H TACOS as well.

Another worst case scenario is to solo them. Depending on you're level it isnt that hard to do N or H TACOS solo. (If your able to do the N TACOS solo u can get 50K pretty quick.) If you learn the routes for each TA via youtube or your favorite video website then it's no problem.

Ok well I could help you out in a few hours, but you could unlock the rest of the TACOS by unlocking all the areas in the meanwhile. Talking to koffie will tell you what you need to do, and each exploration request is 15k experience so you can lvl fairly quickly. (I'm pretty sure you can unlock all the areas on normal and you don't need S ranks either)

You go to Visiphone (The purple telephone-like terminal) and select Arks Search. There should be 3 choices there:

1. Character Search - Search the player according to their character's name

2. Team Search - Search Team (duh)

3. Player Search - Search player according to their ID name

As example, me. Using Option 1, if you type Yusei, you can find me (KazukiQZ). Meanhile the 3rd option must made you search Kazuki or KazukiQZ to find me :)

After you had found you target, just left click the name and send him/her a friend request

the faster you mash the button the faster it fills, tmrw they should be relaxing the amount of mashes needed, most people use currently turbo macros in different forms, joy2key if you play with a gamepad for example

Yep, it'll be back in 5hours or so. If you're on windows 7 or 8(think it works on 8 ), you can get a gadget for times else where Japan/EU, etc.

If you play mainly melee, controller is better and you would rarely need tps. Otherwise, to my knowledge, sega has/will changed the camera control setting, where you can set it independently for regular and tps mode (mostly mentionning in case you reversed the controls). Meaning when you need tps, you could put your controller down and pick your keyboard and mouse at that moment, then switch back when done.

(Any) Rappy costume can only be used in the recycle shop for a Color change pass (for outfit) and the pass can only also be gained with 14 AC items. I did saw the rappy mag evolution device being worth 20 AC item.

I click "Do not send" and it work fine for me. If it still refuse to launch after that... well, maybe delete the content of your gameguard folder (somewhere in pso2's folder) and let it re-download itself. That trick often solve GG issue.

You may have to direct the Tweaker toward the PSO2 directory 1st, and there's patches needed to be applied before most of the text are translated to English. For more info regarding Tweaker, please ask in this thread:

You could try deleting the GG folder and allowing it to re-update itself.

Your problem is, the directory is wrong. It should not stop at just Program Files (x86).

Here's mine for example:
D:\(something something)\PHANTASYSTARONLINE2\pso2_bin\data\win32

Now, what you have to do is:

Remember, the directory MUST finish saying win32, not others, like what it's saying now (Program Files)

Regarding the separate PSO2 folder, well....I think it's because of the faulty directory you had made that had lead the Tweaker thinking that's the real PSO2 folder. Thus, it create new folder for placing the file back-ups.

i think that 4 star room items will raise strinke and lower dex. or u can use both 2 star and five star room items to lower just dexterity, but i have to use them in alteration, 5 star, then 2 star, 5 star, then 2 star.

Otokonokotron's way of feeding mag for raising s-Atk mag is , IMO the best way. The 2* and 5* furniture item can be bought off My Room Shop at Shop Area, for 300 and 400 meseta each respectively.

And don't forget to feed the mag mostly 6* melee weapon for maximum s-atk raise. If the dex bar start to go to max, alternate the 2 and 5 star furniture until it goes to zero bar again.

Start -> 3rd button from the right (the gears) -> first option -> find an empty spot, select it -> second option that says 編集 -> have fun.

That's a semi-new thing that says something along the lines of "You have a Client Order requiring a specific party member; would you like to create a new MPA?"

It basically forces you into a 1/12 are to ensure that nobody else has invited the character you need.

Is there a way to prevent pso2 closing everytime another program asks to run or tries to update. This happens alot to me and it's very annoying when I finally get a full TA party (like what just happened) and pso2 closes because it thinks I'm trying to hack it??

It asks "Do you want this unknown program from an unknown publisher to make changes to this computer?"

I don't want to disable everything. Just certain programs I know I use alot and requires this.

Ok I'm not sure about storage. The team accessory works if you guys get 3k team points. You can equip the team accessory going to team commands and then it'll say "Equip Team Accessory" (if you have eng patch anyway). The team accessory will take up your 3rd accessory slot. Only the leader can change the color of the team accessory.

Well you can get excubes from turning in 10 star weapons or you can get your character to lvl cap and keep lvling to get 2 excubes.
The easiest way to get 10 star weapons would be just simply doing quests and depending on chance(specifically sh quests give more advantage of getting 10 star). Or doing the exploration quests where you get like 90 stones and you can get a 10 star. But make sure the stones you're turning in don't require you to have a 10 star weapon.

Another way is saving up your dark falz stones and turning them in for one of the 10 star weapons.

**lillipa eq border breaker has a good chance of getting 10 stars since you're spamming Mizer**
**When you finish killing mizer go run up the stairs and die so you return to campship without having to go to lobby to restart quest**
I've gotten alot of my 10 stars that way


Also another note on affixing weapons if you're using that boost. You should have at least 4+ abilities you're adding because that's when you'll really need it. (Hope I'm not assuming too far.) XD

I was just saying +4 since you can painfully force slot +3 abilities, but doing +4 abilities is alot more difficult. In the long run with that boost you're better off going big or going home. xD

I'm using my Techer (not my main class, which is Force) and I only have a decent Talis, but the Coast is giving me problems with the invisible enemies, because I can't target them, and sometimes when I try and throw a Talis card to let something like Gigrants out to make them targetable, the card gets thrown at one of the random plants around the area.

Yeah you can't disable it from auto-targetting, but what you can do what pokemin said. Do the "first person shooter' mode. For me the button I press for that is Z and just aim it where you need to.

A good way to get the enemies is throwing the card at whatever then use zondeel and yeah gigrants or any AoE attack.

Have you tried the "File Check" option on the PSO2 blue window upon start-up: the 3rd option down; this usually solves the problem.

Also, are you using Tweaker or anything, with story patches, English Patches.... etc, or are you playing the game RAW in straight Japanese. Because then, these sort of English patches can be fixed using Tweaker to update them. Usually, things gets a little messed up if your story patch (English-Story-Patch) is not up to date, as far as I can understand.

I'm having a bug with the team room+my room, but not the blocks. I read on this forum that turning on item translation is causing this. I would recommend getting tweaker to fix your files (old, misssing, damaged). If that doesn't work then it's probably a sega problem. Somewhere in the depths of pso2 websiteness there might be a topic about it and how sega wants to fix it. Also restarting your comp is a nice second option >_> <_< (experience)

You could feed your Mag discs, as mentioned by Pugas87, or another method (though this requires more attention) would be to alternatively feed it weapons and armor of the same category as to balance out the power and defense stats but retaining the DEX gain... But again, that would require more attention and care, as 6* gear will increase the power and defense stats by large sums XD

Does anybody know how to get Mild, Mild Murder III (Kill 2 El Dagan) from Revelle? I have her at the blue "bad" relationship face, and have completed the following:

Black Slaughter I-VI (6 right there)
Speed Annihilation I-II (8 now)
Mild, Mild Murder I-II (10 now)
Eraser Report I (Total of 11)

The reason I ask is that Cirnopedia labels it as requiring you to clear Mild, Mild Murder II and gain a blue "bad" relationship, but I still don't have it... So any advice...?
The only COs I have yet to complete from her are Speed Annihilation III+ (have not started Ruin on my new character) and Eraser Report II+ (have not done very much Coast yet)

The discs are used to learn new Photon Arts. Go into the PA disc section of the item menu, click on a disc and use it to learn that PA.

If you're not doing Koffie's Client Orders, try to work on all of them.
It might help to join a team so you have a solid group of people to quest with.
Finally, Emergency Quests are often a great way to gain extra EXP; levelling up takes loooooong later on. Good luck ;)

1) As what the poster said above, work toward completing all of Koffee's Client Orders' as they are important and will unlock other maps/regions/stages such as Caves, Desert, Tunnels, Tundra, Floating Continent, etc. Also, from Koffee, you can unlock Hard, Very Hard, Super Hard Mode.

2) Time Attack Client Orders from the NPC: Chroto (or Khroto, a variant in spelling) will be your primary income source if you are not a Premium Member (kind of like a subscription fee).

3) Since you are a Braver: I strongly recommend you build a PURE S-ATK mag if your focus is on using only KATANA. A PURE R-ATK mag if you're only using Bullet Bows. But if you want to go half Katana and half Bullet Bows, then focus on DEX (or Ability, whatever it's called). Personally, I think it's better to opt for one or the other otherwise it'll be kind of a half-assed build.

4) Don't use a lot of cut-ins (where a window pops us and shows an animation of your character) or symbol arts a lot as other players will be annoyed.

6) Spamming Falz Arms EQ, is an excellent way to level up (while using Exp boosters and Triboosts); otherwise do Hans', Franka's, Girard's Client Orders.
