Welcome to the newly designed JP PSO2 Maintenance Thread!

After much careful planning out of future updates to the game, I have found a much better method of updating you all with new maintenance information through this thread. What does that mean for you? Well, it means no more having to sift through multiple maintenance topics to find out more information on what has been updated!

This is how the new maintenance thread works:

• In the first post, the content underneath the separator below that finishes off this opening post details all information from the latest update.
• The second post is a collection of guides, help content, warnings, and other useful information that pertains to these updates.
• The third post actively changes to show three main forms of content: videos, screenshots, and news of upcoming features. The information in this particular post is updated every Friday, collecting together all of the big news that relates to Phantasy Star Online 2.
• The fourth post is an archive of all content updates that will go as far back as one year of maintenance.
• Lastly, the fifth post contains thanks to all news sources and people that help make these updates possible for you all to see here on this thread! Highly recommend checking them all out! ;o

• PSO2 Registration Guide: A guide created by AIDA to assist you with creating your own SEGA ID that is used to play the game.

English Translation Patches/Tools

• PSO2 Episode 2 English Setup File: An English version of the Episode 2 Setup File made by AIDA that is slipstreamed with the latest updates for Phantasy Star Online 2.
• PSO2 Tweaker: A tool developed by AIDA and other members of the PSO2 Tweaker development team that is used for installing the English patches developed for Phantasy Star Online 2. It is a more stable launcher to the game itself, and it can also be used to launch the game and fix any errors received that may prevent you from logging in normally! \o/
• English Story Patch: The English Story Patch can be downloaded by using a torrent program (we most recommend uTorrent for this). This patch translates all essential story-based content. This includes, but is not limited to, story quests, matter boards, and event fields.
• Item Translation Patch: The Item Translation Patch can be enabled only through PSO2 Tweaker. It is used to translate all items in the game from Japanese to English in a flash! You can also switch between the JP and EN item names at anytime by using the Ctrl+F1 shortcut key while in-game. Nifty, huh?

New information regarding the September 18th, 2013 update has been added to the thread!

As a side note, this also marks the first update to be featured in this full version of the maintenance thread as well. For those wondering, yup! This means that from now on all maintenance updates for Phantasy Star Online 2 will be collectively placed here! Feel free to subscribe to the thread or bookmark it for future reference.
