With the main class weapon buff, is it better to mob with a dual saber or a Partizan on a Fighter?

Since you said Fighter, I'm going to assume you meant Twin Dagger & not Dual Saber ("Dual Blades" are a Bouncer weapon). If you meant "Double Saber" (those funky polerarm weapons with blades on each end), those are better at mobbing than Twin Daggers.

My personal experience says Partisan is better at sweeping groups of enemies (dealing damage), while Double Saber is better at crowd control (Hurrican Sender & Chaos Riser, specifically).
My opinion is a bit biased, I must admit. Double Sabers in this game feel nothing like they do in Phantasy Star Universe... something that has frustrated me immensely. As such, I ignore them in this game & choose to use Straight Charge + Quake Howling (Knuckles) or Assault Buster + Slide End + Speed Rain (Partisan), for mobbing as Fighter.

With the title bonus and various Double Saber buffs, I'd say Double Saber is better for the most part. Without Gear, using Tornado Dance Type-0. One-shots weaker trash even on SH. With Gear, use Chaos Riser. If getting zerged, use Acro Effect for guard frames.

The custom weapon sheath position are assigned for each weapon palettes individually, so that mean even if you assign same weapon with exact same camo from 1st palette to the 6th one, you will need to customize each palette weapon shealth position.

What you can try to do is, customize the weapon positioning for every palette, then proceed to the Class Counter to save all that configuration with the "My Set" function.

SORO outfit: complete [O-2], [N-3], and [O-4] on Story Mode; which involve completion of Tokyo, Forest, and Volcano Cave Free Field. Are you, by any chance using class counter and it's "My Set" feature?
Loading My Set will undo all changes you made, unless that your save of the particular My Set are made after you make some adjustments for your weapon position.

He is voiced by Houko Kuwashima (桑島法子), Katori's voice actress. She has one female and one male numbered voice ticket, and something tells me her #91 sounds like Nyau.

If you are talking about the round, glowy waypoint, it is for the ARKS Road, so it will always point toward it's next target until its condition is met. If I recall, the one over Afin is for completing his Client Order "Impact of One's First Battle."

Though, in all honesty, you can ignore ARKS Road since all it really does is give you some items that become useless rather quickly; you can even turn it off from the menu.

Well 気光 is some form of aura(emitting light), but here it may be better off translating it as Spirit.
As Spirita is associated with PP (Spirita affixes), but that's just what I think.

so you need to find your gear.. or is it different?That's pretty much the whole point. You don't get to keep anything you get in the Challenge Quests, but you're rewarded with Challenge Miles you can use to buy stuff outside of CM.

EDIT: I don't know how Challenge Mode was in PSO1, but in PSO2 there's also intermissions where you can trade stuff you got for other items, but again, you don't get to keep any of it after the challenge quest is over.

No im not using the my set thing im just simple going to "equip weapon" and changing my weapon to a different one BUT its actually the same weapon im just changing the element on it so i change from a fire red dual blade to a light red dual blade for example and even if i set the position on both of them separetly the will still revert back to the default when ever i switch between them :(

I have PSO2es on bstacks and log in with my Sega ID that I use on PSO2 and can play on my character, but it has not fulfilled the "linking" client order.

I've done the "talk" twice and that did the first 2 quests, but it doesn't seem to affect the other quests, particularly the "linking PSO2es" and the subsequent quests. I've also played through about 10 small scenarios in PSO2es and have not managed to get any CO's done for Seraphy. I just want to get these CO's out of the way but I'm just tempted to abandon them and forget they exist =\

Is that the item you trade for units? If so, you get two of those for completing a tier 3 craft training order, which is unlocked by completing earlier weapon craft orders and the unit craft order that appears eventually. A full set of units requires trading three, so you must clear those orders for at least two types of weapons. The orders also aren't repeatable, so one character only gets 6 units.

Unit ability crafting returns a usable item that gives your unit that ability once you activate it.

Like Z-0 said, it's as safe as the other party is trustable or not. In my old mmorpg, I was raising money on a different server for the lolz, since it only required me to hit the street and the auction house for 5mins. I did exchange a few time said cash with random on world chat who wanted to trade with my main server. But, that game allowed dual client on same computer and logging the same account on multiple server (less important), so we could easily trade the money in multiple transactions, which I always asked for, so there were less chance one would rip off the other.

Quick question about rare items (mostly weapons) dropping. Why is that whenever rares drop such as weapons for example 95% of the time its rare weapons that are for other classes instead of mine? For example, i was trying to hunt the Dalvada Sword that drops for lvl 51+ Goldrahda and I know The Mining Base EQ quest has a CRAP TON of those enemies. So when i do the Mining Base EQ quest, i make sure im on very hard since that difficulty said its enemies are 51+ or 55+ (cant remember). Before i started it, i used a 50% increase booster for Mesta, Experience, and Rare. Did the Mining Base quest two times and the Dalvada Sword still never dropped from like 1000 Goldrahda. Instead, other weapons that arent even related to my class such as Gunner weapon rares or Bouncer etc dropped instead -_-. I have 250% Rare Booster and i might consider using it but then again chances are im gonna save it for a 12 star weapon or above. Seriously, what is going on here with the game dropping the opposites of what rare weapons i'm looking for?

The class drop bonus isn't that significant, but it definitely exists, as is usually evident from the drop records having way more Gunslash drops then anything else.

The Alter Ego PP cost reduction rolls actually stack for a 20% reduction, which probably makes them the best rolls from a DPS standpoint.

Made better by the fact that they're area drops in the current LQ.

Orbit Bullet Bow is better than Austere in term of pp regen.
For Tmg, also Orbit Tmg, or you can use Gal/ Tokyo Tmg. The later 2 is better if you've maxed Zero Range Critical.

Rasahadis is just barely stronger than Orbit (not even a 1% difference) regardless of critical hits, and its potential is very awkward to use. Walkure is, similarly, barely stronger than Austere, and it's also very hard to use properly.
Edit: Did some more comparisons, and it turns out that Walkure is actually weaker than Austere at all times, even with a 95% critical hit rate. With normal critical hit rate, Walkure is even weaker than Orbit, and only manages to slightly pick up if you have Shifta Critical or Critical Field effect. That's assuming that you are within Zero Range Critical's range and only land hits on weak spots. It's hopelessly weak otherwise.

Really, don't bother with Gryphon or Tokyo guns.

Yes and no.
Every class has it's own "Class Boost", so not every class will give additional HP.
Once you leveled one of your class to level 75, you will receive an title that will also grant additional base stat.
After you redeem the title, boost will active for every single of your character on the same ID, regardless of their current class or level.
To check what class give what stat boost, check this bumped post (http://www.bumped.org/psublog/pso2-class-boost/).

If those are supposed to be final stats, then they would make less than a 10% difference. It goes up to 10% in your 2500~2750 case the higher enemy defense goes, but stays as an 8% difference in the 3000~3300 case. Still, it depends how exactly you get those stats.

For example, if you upgrade to a weapon that has that much more attack, then the elemental bonus makes it a straight 12% difference.

If you somehow change your base stats by that much, the difference is about 9% with Shifta Drink, and greater than that if you have a Techer's Shifta and team tree buff.

In other cases, it's less than 9% difference unless your total attack is very low and your enemies' defenses are high. So yeah, stats matter less than damage modifiers the higher your stats go.

So i recently came back to this game, got lucky with the limited quest going on and went from 50-75 pretty quick, however, all my equipment is now dog shit. I've done some searching on the internet but typically end up more confused than anything.

I'm a 75 fighter / 50 hunter, and i want to know what i can quickly grab in the next day or two to get an upgrade, and then what kind of end game super grind equipment i should be working towards. I also have zero lambda grinders.

Currently i'm using (can't post links due to having less than 10 posts)

+10 rear Zangurisu
+10 arm than fellow
+10 leg zansurasuta

My mag is lvl 200 with about 150 satk and 50 dex

I have about 389 Gold 2016 weapon badges and 488 silver 2016 weapon badges

For units, keep on doing Featured Quests and pray you get several gold keys for a complete Saiki Set (or alternatively buy them off people's shop if you're premium). I'd recommend Hiei before but with how easily attainable Saiki is you could just go for that.

As for weapons, get red fighter weapons and extend them as a temporary decent set of weapons before you can get 13* stuff.

A crafted red double saber is one of the strongest sub-13☆ weapons, though it may be a bit expensive to make. Ideal is a pretty good set of units that is fairly easy to get. Both require Challenge Miles.

The endgame would be an Orbit or an Austere weapon, but I think Fighter's Orbit is knuckles, not sure if it's up your alley. Orbits are generally easier to get, especially with the LQs running until March 9.

Saiki seems to be everybody's favorite unit set. You have a low chance of getting it from the bonus quest. Out of the units that you can get without premium and/or massive luck, Ideal may be the best.

If you have a 12* pass from title rewards, you can buy a Lavis Blade for Twin Daggers and give it the photon booster potential (23% brave stance damage) and it's easier to grind since it's a 12*. If you don't, you can farm SHAQ for the stones that Zieg needs for a 'free' 30 element one that's also tradeable, unlike if you buy it with a pass. Even at 30 element it is better than a lot of the 13*s

For Double Saber, you can do the Elder+Luther emergency quest and get a Meteor Cudgel, it drops frequently. I would stick with Cudgel until you get some sort of 13* since it's not really worth upgrading to a 12* with Double Saber's low weapon attack.

For Knuckle, you can also get a (light) Judgement Hearts from the Elder+Luther emergency quest and it should be fine for most of the important content but you can also choose to get a God Hand from Zieg or from the shop using 12* passes with the photon booster potential.

For units, you can buy the Ideal units for 60k miles (Zieg also repays you 120k so you effectively gain 60k miles for buying them) to hold you over until you get Saiki.

Endgame:
Twin Dagger:
You don't really have to upgrade Lavis Blade unless you want to use Wise Stance with it. Dagger of Serafi drops very often from Falz Dourumble for a 13*.

Double Saber:
Gale Vishner can drop from Gal Gryphon and it is great Double Saber since it adds Crit. Double=Cannon can also drop from Elder+Luther but I wouldn't count on it. I would use Invade/Austere otherwise.

Knuckle:
Orbit is easy to get and you want to have one for the sheathed PP regen. At 20 element, it is still decent and will beat anything not 13* (except God Hand). Gridaf Hex can be nice to have if you want to dash around with Heartless Impact. Austere is optional.

Don't buy an Invade weapon to use unless you plan on upgrading it to Austere in the future.

You don't have to level the character over again, and since maxing each job give bonus, it's easier to get max level on 1 chara instead of multiple chara

There's nothing wrong with your argument, but it's also a fact that a lot of people take the time and costs of making equipments for multiple characters into consideration.
Though of course, you could also make the argument that you can just bank equipments and use them on different characters, but there are people who prefer having a set of equipments for each character.

You will also have to level up classes and mags for a new character, with your argument, to be a perfect player for Fo,
you would need at least 3 characters with max level in Fo/Br/Te/Gu (for different combinations of Fo) and 200 T-ATK mags, that's not exactly what most people would do.

XH is a bit annoying due to how long it takes to solo so probably, Primary reason is i'm farming disks for another character but gureen is by far the most annoying to get i'm not sure when the server is back up again.

XH is a bit annoying due to how long it takes to solo so probably, Primary reason is i'm farming disks for another character but gureen is by far the most annoying to get i'm not sure when the server is back up again.They'll be up in 4 hours (so ~6-8 because the maintenance will probably be extended :wacko: ) You can PM me your info so I can add you when I get on if you want. Specifically, there are titles which grant you ☆12 weapon passes as a reward. You have to clear I-forget-how-many XH quests for 3 titles, each of which give 1 pass.

To be fair, if your Nox DB only has 30 elements, then the Orbit with 20 element will already be better than it but the bottom line is please at least grind Orbit to +10 before actually using it.

Nox 50 Element Pot 3 is about the same as Orbit 20 Element Pot 3 (assuming no Ultimate Buster calculation), with Orbit being a little bit better, and to actually see a difference, you will want Orbit at 40 element at least.

Tried to DL the patch but I think it's trying to re-download the whole game. After it said what I am pasting below, Tweaker said "downloading x/39,600 files" (the same amount as when I downloaded the entire game) and whenever I close and re-open it says "patching job was interrupted? well nvm, there is no "empty" base wear so the only way to wear the shirt is over 2 layers of other clothes... wtf! this makes no sense... i dont get it they release a shirt that is like over underwear but you cant put it over underwear because you cant unselect base wear and the available base wear is just part of the other clothes... so yo ucan wear a shirt... over a skirt and shirt... over underwear, wow great

Bottom one gives:

APPR +20%, Damage +8%, -60% PP Regen when sheathed and +20% APPR when weapon is out (useless, Ares is better)

Any who my concern with Apprentice route is PowIV.

I'm not an affix pro but it was to my understanding that Pow III + Pow III + Pow III = 40% Pow IV which only be 80% Success rate with 40% Transfer. Iirc the only way to boost to that so it would be 100% would be if Quartz (or any Pow boosting soul) is in there somewhere......or two PowIIIs with a Mutation II.

Would that be the only way or am I missing something? my end goal is to make everything 100% like the original link above.

3 Power III + 1 Quartz (not restricted to Quartz, but any Pow III boosting soul will do) will create Pow IV at 60%

3 Power III + 1 Mutation II will create Pow IV at 70%

Oh okay, I see. If you problem is with putting in Apprentice Soul instead, then you could use a 5 Slot Soul Receptor fodder.

complete show time star, chain f bonus and chain finish to shine even more killing bosses, after that you will have 1 sp left, maybe you can use it for tmg arts charge.
Also, if that Ra is you sub tree, killing bonus 10 is a must for a Gu.
