Personally I prefer for Br/Hu with Bow. Guren spam for mobs, Banish Arrow + Kamikaze Arrow for the big boys. For Zigmorde I usually end up just sticking close to her and spam (Jump-Normal Attack) Gekka-Tsukimi and parrying her scythe attacks (try to parry near the end of her swinging animations), when she's trying to curse you and she's doing her I-suck-you-in animation just activate Katana Combat for the invincibility and keep hitting her, Katana Combat Finish - rinse and repeat, if necessary.

I've tried other options as well because Br/Hu might be boring after a while so my other vote goes to Gu/Ra being airborne (PA Aerial Shooting) is a huge advantage just make sure to craft your Bullet Squall PA so you can move while pewpew'ing and having fun headshooting things. Throw in some Gravity Bombs, Satellite Aims, Rifle and Weak Bullet and you are set.

I do also like Fi/Hu, Fi/Bo, Fo/Te, Ra/Hu for Kuron farming...but honestly Br/Hu and Gu/Ra are so much easier to gear up (for starters just one red katana or tmg) while having great results for less effort.

The new bow is by some margin the best bow in the game for niche FoBr builds.

The only problem is getting the bow to start with, ahh...

If we follow the system and functionality of the original skills, Perfect keeper skills take "Current Max HP" into account, so it will even under HP reduction skills like PP Convert or Limit Break, as long as you stay above the certain percentage of the current HP line.

Oh and the gathering boost dishes should work in all areas, the materials are listed as a way of reminding you the required materials for making the dish, I guess.

Yep. IIRC, it also affects damage from counters and special weapon functions, like Bouncer's double (or multi) jump.

Nevermind what I've posted below (this is an edit but I'll leave up my original issue). Someone in game cleared it up for me and I'll elaborate on my current understanding (which may still be wrong) in case others have a similar confusion as I had.

Experience doesn't level your ring up, only grinding it actually levels it up. What experience does is raise to the grind CAP of your ring. So in the stats it will say Grind Value: #of current grind (#of Max grind based on your experienced gained thus far Xjp textX). So when getting your ring XP, don't fret if the % bar does not necessarily correlate with what you're expecting. Pay closer attention to max grind and then to actually level up your ring you have to grind it.

There's some repeatable ones but on a fresh character you can get like 38 in one go by doing all of his non-repeatable COs that give them. If you don't have less than 3 characters deleting them isn't a good idea though obviously.

How hard is it to grind a ring at +20 ? I haven't done any grinding in a while now, I have Grinders, Lambada Grinders, Skip to 5, Grind Boosts and Grind Risk Reductions coming out the ass.

JP wiki (http://pso2.swiki.jp/index.php?%E3%82%B9%E3%82%AD%E3%83%AB%E3%83%AA%E3% 83%B3%E3%82%B0#oee46bd7) listed around 30m player's EXP to cap the ring (Lv20) ...... BonusQuest will help a lot.
Then you need the mats .....
Rocks : 3 for each grind
Gemstone : 1 for each grind starting from +5 -> +6 till the end.
LambdaGrinder : 3 for each grind starting from +10 -> +11 till the end.

Might want to use +30% GrindSuccess for each (kinda expensive ..... but I did it anyway starting from +5 -> +6 :P ), so you don't waste LambdaGrinder (or maybe Gemstone too if you're not lucky)

^It says 'please choose a stat to raise'. If you choose the top choice, you can't proceed grinding until you choose a stat.

You can use weaps/armor as fooder as long they have the same amount or more abilities than the base (griph drop you a 13* tmg with 6 abilities, you can only use weapons to affix that have 6 or more abilities on them)
You can buy element change items in the players shops. ( 属性変化（光属性） is the one to change any weapon element to light, you can only use it when you raise your weap elemnt with dudu/monica)

Hard to estimate since is RNGod we are talking about, you can have luck and get to +40 w/o fail or crash-fail at +5 for a week of constant grind, if you use otp you must have some grind skip>5
( 強化スキップ（→５） ) that can help grinding, but if not, +5 your weap by brute force, at +6 use succes rate +10% and risk reduction 1 until you reach +8, at +9 use succes rate +30% and keep using risk reduction 1 until you reach +10 (you can use risk reduction +2 or full from +9 to +10, but only if you have risk +2 already or have the money to buy full ones) then rince and repeat.
Maybe you can wait for the boost week (next week after maint) it will give you a 10% boost in success rate.

There is an option that must be selected from the in-game settings, something about "discreet body" something or other. From my own experience, you need to do it in one go because if you save it for later (via Save Data), it will only save one of the two body types and then apply it to both when you reload it. (unless something was just wrong with my file)

It's a lighting thing along with eye type. Some eye types tend to desaturate the color while other enhance it.

Okay, first thing is your eye color. If you want a more vibrant color, you want it to be closer to the white area, and you want to make sure the slider on the side is all the way up. Next is the eye-type; typically the less black there is in the iris, the brighter the color will be, and there are also certain eyes that make the color pop, be it via contrast (like the Dark Eyes) or because they glow (like to Noctilucent eyes). Finally, there is the matter of lighting; some areas will make the eye color pop out more, while others will reduce it. For example, in the picture set below, I used a red that is close to the white and has the color vibrancy set to the top; in the default salon lighting, they are a bright vibrant red made more obvious with the eye-types that have little to no black in them, but when I switch the lighting to the Shop Area and Tokyo, the vibrancy is reduced, and they look darker with them almost being a completely different color in Tokyo.

Woops, sorry, forgot to follow up.
Go to options [Gears icon, third option down]
Open the first tab [Basic Settings], then go to the last option [Makeover settings].
There should be two sub-settings; the top is to change the display of accessories in the este windows (tabbed v. list), while the second one is what you are looking for (Realtime change v. Discrete change). Select the bottom option, and you should be able to edit your CAST and Human forms separately.

It all depends on how long you've been gone. The old advice still pretty much works (in fact Franka's COs require less materials that before in general), but make sure you pick up DOs as well and do the Recommended Quests since they have the chance to net you a Bonus Key (which is used to enter the Bonus Quests, which give a butt-ton of EXP, especially if you are using EXP Boosters).

I took a break when Bouncer got released (so not that long ago) and progression-wise the last Exploration I've unlocked is the Coast :p

They are characters designed by Mamoru Nagano (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mamoru_Nagano). Like Alis, they were first shown in the promotional images for the PSO2 Ep.2 Deluxe Package (http://www.bumped.org/psublog/phantasy-star-online-2-ep-2-deluxe-package/) which came with badges you could use to trade for costumes and hairstyles designed by Nagano (as well as coming with three weapons and a Mag designed by him). Well, as I said, no crit build = upgrade right away. And you can leave it at 30 ele if your plan involves maxing through another Austere. Element boosters are only worth if you can buy 5 of them.

They're all pretty rare gathering items. I haven't tried the Naberius one yet but the Vopal one is for shells. I've found about 3 in 3 days so they're pretty hard to find. The one for Tokyo is to find glass bottles (from mining I think). Again, pretty rare.

Same deal for the daily orders for gathering, they sometimes ask for rare gathers.

They are rare items. Bottles are from mining in Tokyo, the Mushrooms are from mining in Naberius, and the Shells are from fishing on Vopar. You can get lucky on a fever and get multiples of them, but it does come down to RNG.

First of all, you probably need to run a filecheck and reinstall your English patch if they are blank. Second, odds are those are the COs that are for completing any 5 TAs on VH+. The quickest way to do them is to just run the Harukotan TA 5 times [or 1 on SH (for Trial of a New Rank) and 4 on VH, while also picking up the CO for N+ on Harukotan TA for a total of 1,060,000meseta in less that 30 minutes].

Featured Quests are based per account, regardless of how many chars you have.

ThanksWhat TheszNuts said is trued, but the featured quest boxes are account wide too, so you only get 3 per account regardless of which character you did the quest on.

You can only get one reward per recommended quest per ship per day, so unless you are putting them all on different ships and then transferring back to a single ship every maintenance, having more characters doesn't increase the chance of keys.
As to your question, you can do all normal missions (except a few EQs) at lv.1. Just completing Koffie's first quest will get you to lv.10+, and if you just keep running her quests as they become available, you can hammer out all the area unlocks and be at VH level within a day.

Well that pretty much answers my question, guess I won't bother with other characters then.

That's OK. I now realize tat it was a silly idea that SEGA would have allowed this. I only use the bonus quests for the EXP dogs, helps get class cubes to gain the extra SP, but I forgot that some people may care about the stones you get with those quests and that it would have been too easy to farm.

As long as you wear the ring and gain experience, the ring will also gain experience.

No they never have and never will remove/wipe everything you have in Prem storage, your fine, general thing people always did was fill prem storage before it expires but extra storage gives some help toward that

There is a general class drop bonus, but in most cases it is negligible and doesn't really do much for your odds.

If your evil rakuka is 50 ele, then stick to it till you can finalize 13* choice on ares or austere.

The pot on Tokyo and slave katana aren't worth the meseta spent on them, especially slave.

But then, if u still wanna choose between the 2, ID go for Tokyo, BUT only if it's full 60 element. If not, it can't compete with 50 ele evil rakuka.

Still ridiculously confused (most of it having to do with the fact that I am a new player). But I'll elaborate on my confusion:

-From reading your post my understanding is that you are suggesting that the increased cost (more gems and lambdas to buy the ring) is due to the fact that the ring is essentially maxed when you first get it (maxed in the sense that you receive the full 'benefit' of the innate ring ability as opposed to having to strengthen that ability up).

My confusion stems from this: how is limiting the functionality of a skill the benefit? Katana Combat doesn't seem hindered by the fact that you teleport around, so what is the benefit of using the ring? In a way the ring actually reduces DPS from katana combat unless I am completely missing the point of forcibly standing still throughout the duration. On that note I've never had an issue staying in the exact same place with the teleport function on. So what is it about the ability within this ring that makes losing the teleport function worthwhile?

Removing teleport is useful when you're playing in TPS mode ._.

New quick question: what is TPS mode? Sorry I've been playing this game almost a month now but still feel ridiculously new @_@

From a mechanical standpoint I don't see how it's an option. Even with teleport on you can stand still and attack the exact same spot for 20 seconds in a row if you like. It's like saying "this benefit of this ring is that it disables your option to jump, so it gives you the option of being able to jump without it, or wearing it and not having that possibility."

I genuinely want to know what I am not understanding because everyone but me seems to understand it DX

I think it's meant to make Katana combat less jarring, and really, if you don't like the stats you don't HAVE to grind it. Considering you can equip and unequip the rings without needing a whole skill tree reset, it's actually one of the few rings that makes sense as a ring and not a skill.

It's not really a matter whether it's worth it to us or not, you're asking why it's like that, and as far as I can tell, that's why.

Depending on the units yes.
When you increase a pet's rarity it gives you the option to choose between the personality the pet currently has and the one on the egg. You can only do that with eggs of the same or higher rarity as the pet though, so it's a good idea to get the personality you want before upgrading to 10*+
Higher rarity pets have higher level caps.

You can use weaps/armor as fooder as long they have the same amount or more abilities than the base (griph drop you a 13* tmg with 6 abilities, you can only use weapons to affix that have 6 or more abilities on them)
You can buy element change items in the players shops. ( 属性変化（光属性） is the one to change any weapon element to light, you can only use it when you raise your weap elemnt with dudu/monica)


Hard to estimate since is RNGod we are talking about, you can have luck and get to +40 w/o fail or crash-fail at +5 for a week of constant grind, if you use otp you must have some grind skip>5
( 強化スキップ（→５） ) that can help grinding, but if not, +5 your weap by brute force, at +6 use succes rate +10% and risk reduction 1 until you reach +8, at +9 use succes rate +30% and keep using risk reduction 1 until you reach +10 (you can use risk reduction +2 or full from +9 to +10, but only if you have risk +2 already or have the money to buy full ones) then rince and repeat.
Maybe you can wait for the boost week (next week after maint) it will give you a 10% boost in success rate.

get ares anyway.. there will be an ult boost and ares is the 2nd best katana only bested by austere
