Actually, only the 12* weapon in the left top square is PD EQ only. The other 3 square are listed as "recommended/showing up here", so you can perfectly go and SHAQ for the bottom right square for boss. The bottom left one will get completed if the blue weapon naturaly drop in SHAQ, it's an area drop. Which SHAQ you need for which Blue weapon, as an example (google translated swiki):

Just out of sheer curiosity, would Matoi Viel and Viel Hunar qualify for the damage boost? Not like we're ever gonna fight them outside of story and Solo XQ and they're ridiculously weak, but I just want to know if it would work.

my guess would be yes, but i'm not 100% sure. the swiki states verbatim "ult buster works on any aberration mob 71+" (meaning it actually would not work on N-SH gryphon LQ mobs as an example). matio/viel hunar have the same type of unique darker spawn animation as anga/dio hunar/solo pd which makes me think they (matoi/viel) would be considered aberrations.

PS : Just get back in the gameVirtual fullscreen is always going to come with a slight performance drop since it's basically just windowed mode without a border. You may have just not noticed it before the graphic update.

what's the best (always accessible, so no eq's) place to find kartargot for the ray cf? (the requirement is 66+, so that basically means no free explore/arks quests).

the only repeatable xq that appears to have them is aquatics 60-65, and there aren't really a ton there, so it isn't a great place to farm. likewise, the current lq can technically spawn them, but not at a reasonable rate.

this pretty much leaves shaq as the remaining option. anyone remember which aq's spawn them? i was thinking probably urban, but figured i'd ask first before spending caps.

Does it matter what enemy it drops from? I need a Blue Katana from a Bikuda Rabitta, and it's kind of a pain to find those, so I figured I could just run some AQ's until I get the Katana. If I got it from a different enemy, would it still count as completed?

on an unrelated note, going back to the blue weapons for rays, have the blue weapon drop rates on shaqs been nerfed? i remember i used to get a ton of them back when shaqs were new, but yesterday when i ran it, it took 2 runs with 250's to get my blue rod (and the only other weapons i got were 2 blue db's).

got a ton of large stones and non-blue crap in the process though.

Friend of mine is having an issue with installing PSO2 VIA Tweaker.

Whenever she gets through the 0/46k cycle installing it, she does not get a PSO2 Update Yes/No Prompt window, and the Game proceeds to reinstall itself all over again from 0/46k.

Grinded two Nox Rod to +25 under 1mil each so far, mostly been using random crap and 10* from PD. Which of course mean I'm grinding them with excube fooder. Surely not the best idea ever, but food for thoughts.

1. Because Gunslash is cool looking. I also want to try out a Strike/Shoot/Tech build with Fo/Fi and a 12-star gunslash that gives me a decent 910/910/1100 that I can run for fun when I'm not trying to rush in an XHEQ. However, the gunslash in question looks attrocious courtesy of Sega. So I need something that looks nice.

2. Something that's cool and not a troll skin like "*Nyau's Dick" or a squirt gun or something. I got the Slepnir skin which pretty epic looking but it clips through my character and causes immersion problems.

People make them to sell for profit, so if it's cheaper to buy pre-made stuff than to make it yourself, people wouldn't be making them and selling them as that would be stupid to do. If for some reason some exist for super cheap, lower than the price to make them, then they would be bought out super quickly, raising the minimum price back to above the price that it'll cost to make. The min price won't ever be right at the cost amount for making it yourself, either, since there are always those that would rather pay a premium to save time. This is all basic economics.

A Talis FO/TE tree is rather identical to your bog standard FO/TE tree, but you get stuff like Talis Tech Bonus and Talis Fast Throw instead of Rod specific skills like Rod Shoot.

Fire/Light/Dark is the most common FO/TE build due to high concentration of Light Weak content as well as Fomelgion damage. Some people buy extra trees for speccing into specific elements, like Wind and Ice.

Ep4 changed it so that you can buy it from the photon exchange shop.
I believe it was 50 photon spheres for 1 CT iirc.

1. PD and Double HP is the same, they're just more aggressive and OHKO-spammy.
2. Ray is a pretty solid series, with good ATK stats and a really neat Potential (10% damage, 5% damage resist, 10% PP cost reduction). Basically a weaker Austere.

Do you have a paypal? Add the card on paypal and use that to pay for it. I use a US Debit card and that method works for me.

Mine still works and I use a VISA so maybe the card you are using has flagged PSO2es as a fraudulent charge and blocks it.

I'm trying out a Fo/Fi build while I farm meseta to finish up the affixes for my Hu/Br. Trying to get Apprentice-Modulator-Power III on all my weapons is proving to be quite annoying money-wise.

I don't want to spend a long time farming those items if it's not that much of an upgrade from Invade.

Invade suffers from high damage variance and a bad potential (+45% Crit Rate), which is why it's often tiered lower than a few of the super duper good 12s and the midrange or better 13s. Austere, on the other hand, is widely considered the best weapon series in the game, with the highest ATK in each of its weapon classes and a damage boosting/PP cost reduction potential. However, it's a grind to get, since trading for one Austere only leaves you with a 30 Ele weapon, forcing you to hunt down a second Austere to totally max it. If you can get your hands on it and have the materials to +40 it, though, then it's an excellent investment.

EDIT: One exception to the rule: if you play Gunner, a +40 Blitz Fender with its Hidden Potential and Ultimate Buster affixed will outdamage Austere by a very marginal amount against 71+ Ultimate mobs. It's also much more economical than a 13. I use this as my go-to anti-Profound Darkness weapon.

Once you pick up the weapon you're flagged as completed. After that you can do whatever you want - fodderize, sell, feed to mag, it doesn't matter.

the switch that you're talking about is the one where after hitting the buttons to deactivate the 2 colored barriers and using the terminal to make the deactivation permanent, a jump to go over a wall to the left appears, you kill a few darkers, and then take a jump to a terminal that activates the skipping jumps.

Yea 100% simply means no penalty, compared to say Weak Stance @ 95% which means 5% penalty vs non-weak.

Badges will most likely to drop like the rest of the previous LQs (except the 1st ever LQ cuz badges didn't exist yet)

Other than badges and fighting Odin, most likely the reason for farming Odin LQ is completing the new Aura weapon sheets (+12% damage to bosses and +15% damage resist)

Talk to Pudding. Navigator lady in white in the gate area.

There are currently 3 sections of collection sheets. Look for the Valkyrie A30 among them.

View the sheet when you find it, then click the bottom left button to take the sheet.

You will need to collect drops by killing the specified targets until that progress meter says 100%. Kill one more target, and that item will drop.

Once you collect all of the target items (there is four target items for the valkyrie a30), you will be automatically rewarded with the 13* poster boy weapon of the sheet you picked.

The Yamato EQ will stay in the game, but its Collect File will expire. When a Collect File expires, you can still hold onto and complete it, but once it's finished or removed from your list, it's gone.

You can buy Advance Capsules from the Item Shop and Casino Coin Shop, or get them as rewards for some COs. You're supposed to play AQs to earn more Capsules in a loop-type rotation.

How is a pets element grinded to 60?

By adding "pancakes" (1 stack buyable, higher stacks buyable with fully grinded previous stacks so may take a little effort) candy into the pets candy box.
Pets initially have 10 element, so optimally you'd place one three stack (+30 element) and one two stack (+20, for a total of 60 element) pancakes into the pet's box. (And can't go past 60, so no need to use two three stacks or otherwise)

Also, if not 13*, believe element caps at 50 even with a total of 60 element in candy box. But after increasing rarity and leveling past 100, element will change to 60 assuming a two stack and three stack are already in the current candy box.

In addition to whats been said, the collection file set for yamato weapons comes in 20 elements, so they'd have to be completed three times to max element which may be more difficult to complete as the emergency is much more infrequent at this time. So it may be more effective to choose another board after reaching extra hard difficulty, unless the valk a30 rifle stands out aesthetically for you.

As mentioned, capsules come from the advance quests themselves, in a loop-type rotation whereas missions requiring a's drop b's, b->c, c->a. Same for d e and f capsules.
Believe there should be orders that hand out capsules for starting out, but cannot come to mind. Arks road -may- hand out some a's to start with for the very hard variants as there may be a point where it asks you try some. Also, aika's order should hand out d's to start with for the super hard variants.

...alternatively, if rapidly leveling through them you can ask others you're running with to pay for you anyway (and they'd be throwing far, far more than your fee just to max risk) as most that do bother with advance quests tend to have an endless supply of them - particularly with the very hard set of capsules.

Good luck! Depending on play frequency, reaching max level is much more than possible in less than a month, but you probably already knew that.

You have to trade a 12 star weapon to the recycle center for a 12 star weapon trade pass, and you need premium for it. For leveling, I am also level 47, I heard advance quests are the best way to level.

when it says complete (the entire thing) it automatically appears in your inventory. hope you didn't delete/trash it l0l maybe it's in your storage?

The mechanics of Element is very wishy washy, but general rule of thumb is that more Element = more damage. Element is the second most important thing next to getting a weapon's Grind and Potential maxed out, since it makes such a huge impact on your damage.

Collect Files must cool down once completed. You can reset the cooldown with SG, but if you wait a bit, the Collect File will reopen. An expired Collect File cannot be reobtained unless it's still in your set after the expiration date.

It was in threads before that having everything in one drive actually makes the system more prone to the NP errors that have been floating around.

I don't want you to upgrade to Windows 10 and think a failure exists because of the OS when its another thing altogether.

Sorry, but personally I can't agree with you there...
I've been playing PSO2 for years now, always had Tweaker exactly in the same folder as PSO2, in the OS SSD drive, and NEVER had any issues with GameGuard, or any related NP error related to that...
AFAIK, it's always related to permissions within Windows. I run my account as Administrator, so i believe the issue might be there.
Hell, I can even open the ARKS Mod Tool mid-game, and it won't give me any issue. It'll just hook up at first, no problem.
But also to note, is that I run on Win8.1, so I can't personally speak about Win10, but I believe that Tweaker related, there won't be any differences...
But I don't want to invalidate your post in any sort of way, so what I say is: Try it!
Everything is try-basis, so you can try to have tweaker in the same folder as PSO2, see how that goes, if you get issues, than try different stuff. My life experience tells me: each computer is a different computer. No matter what config you have on it, no matter how equal they are, there's always something different in the background of everything.

Orbits are probably some of the best end game weapons and can be earned over time with stone droppes.

However I am using the full Ideal unit set and already have the Ideal rifle and can probably be earned a little bit faster cause of continuous CM runs faster than orbits. Plus I can keep the set armor/weapon set bonus between both rifle and tmg.

current tmg is the Yas2k at +30 w/ lv 2 potential and crafted to lv9

I can't decide which TMG's to go for...Ideal or Orbit.

Orbits are really good TMG. They probably have the second highest general damage for TMG, and the second part of the potential makes it easy to regen PP without relying on a grenade (or when using Hunter sub). Also boosts Nifta damage if you use that.

It was specifically said "Remember to keep PSO-2 and Tweaker in different drives...". That's why I replied what I replied.
"I've been playing PSO2 for years now, always had Tweaker exactly in the same folder as PSO2"
However, I also stated "But I don't want to invalidate your post in any sort of way, so what I say is: Try it!
Everything is try-basis, so you can try to have tweaker in the same folder as PSO2, see how that goes, if you get issues, than try different stuff.".
So, no harm done there, as far as I see it.


Things seem to be working with PSO 2 and the Tweaker. I did, however, loose my ability to use the steam overlay with PSO 2 with Tweaker.

Does anyone know how to get it to work WITHOUT running steam as admin? Rather not run steam as admin just for one game (and to avoid any early problems). It worked fine in windows 7, just not in windows 10.

Grind Skip (7) requires 20 AC Scratch Items (costumes are probably the easiest to obtain/buy from the player shops) at the Recycle Shop, and yes it will instantly +7 the weapon; yes, the attribute of the weapon increases damage regardless of the weak element

Rainbow palette is only necessary for FO, TE and BO, due to Element Conversion, Element Weak Hit and Elemental Stance.
For other melee/ranged classes, weak element matching nets like 5% more damage, so it's not worth.

Phantasy Star Online 2 is different from most Online Games in the sense that if you join a party that is already in the campship getting ready to run the maps, they are most likely to actually kick you. It happens as well with some MPAs. Also, the time attack quests can be solo-cleared. You only are required to beat one Time Attack on Super Hard Difficulty and the remaining on Very Hard difficulty.

Solo clearing should not be so much of a problem....
..and there are guides out there on how to clear the maps...

That's really it. Compounds charge after dealing enough damage with other techs.

Part of the reason fire, and light are popular elements are their .5 second or less cast times for major damage dealers. They build compounds fast.

Does anyone know the exact base value % for Profound Darkness on the Ray sheets? I've been able to get many sheets done in 4 runs but just after picking up another 3 my first run landed me on an annoying 33.11%. I was running 250% RDR, 100% Tri, 30% daily, 50% donut, 3 level 3 Ark fleet RDR timed abilities, Premium drink 1 and quick swapping to an Umbra stick. That setup has working for my past 4 x3 sheet turn-ins but now I'm confused.

There's /mpal<Umbla Stick palette> command, /mpal6 if Umbla Stick is in palette 6 for example, for switching weapon even during cut-scene if you bind it to autowords.

For Ray sheets, PD gives 5.8% without any rdr boost. If you want to finish a sheet in 4 runs, you will need to have 475% rdr boost each run.

Thank you so much, I really should have dug deeper before posting. Seems If all info is correct and Prem gives 20% RDR and level 3 timed abilities give 3% each I was sitting at 471% since my daily was at 27%, guess I need to get a better stick or find a team with boosts.

When you complete it, the CF will be on cooldown for 2 days. Remove the sheet and wait for the cooldown to go away, and you can re-take it

They are not particularly good in most cases as far as 13* go. The farm would be pretty slow as well, with no one doing any sort of UQ most of the time.

Having something as a subclass does not allow you to use its weapons, only its skills, PAs, and techs if it has any. To use a subclass' weapon, you will need to find one with the ability to be innately wielded by your main class. Some weapons can be used by all classes.

Get Perfect Keeper Striking/Ranged for when you're bossing with Katana or Bow, otherwise Killing Bonus is best to use while mobbing since you're usually in range for it to take effect.

What Photon Blast should I use for Striking and Range classes? Julius Nifta? Using Ketos Proi for every type at the moment.

The scratch option with the greater RoI changes with each scratch, depending on how they package the items. For example, sometimes a hairstyle that is sure to be popular is bundled with nearly every costume in the gold scratch, making it superior.

You should take this kind of question to the corresponding class thread.
doesn't really matter, S-ATK boosts the whack and makes for slightly better single target damage, T-ATK boosts the explosion and makes for slightly better damage against packed enemies. HU doesn't use a lot of offensive spells anyway so really up yo you to balance those up
Rainbow is obviously better for TE/HU, but don't bother with reds for this class combination (only TE/BR should because weak stance is mean) a solid *13 hitting off element is pretty much the same as a crafted red on element, so you should focus on one wand and slowly creep your way towards rainbow *13.
