As soon as you pick the 5th affix, the option to even use a 4s protection item disappears.

The attachment is broken so I can't see it, but my guess would be that you have your Team Accessory active which automatically overrides Accessory 4.

During boost week, you should be able to upslot to 6s with a 40% item and 7s at 100% with a 45% item.
You csn get a +45% for clearing certain specific quests in story mode. 1 is all it takes.

The only other places to get +40% Boosters are from the Battle Coin exchange, but only 1 per week, or by exchanging 8SG scratch items at the SG Recycle Shop. If you need more Excubes, take any 2018 Badges you have and go get some solo PD Triggers; with a +250%RDR, you can easily get ~30 weapons to cube per run.

Can't tell how much more hp I lose from the 0 def stats of the unit but I can tell you, since I made one for my Fo, it saved my ass more than once (even with my current poor 1295 s def) in time where I wouldn't had any chance to survive with my usual 980 hp ;)

1) Use them as food for your other Pets.
2) Recycle them in the Recycle Shop for Excubes.

Only certain 13* weapons can be sold in the Player Shops; if you want to get rid of your excess 13*s and make a profit off of them, then you can desynth them into Gold-materials and Saphards in the My Craft menu in your MyRoom and put those up for sale.

Rappy Shine, it comes with 777HP.
Somehow at lvl 80+ the def from two 12* units is enough so having 0 def on that unit only makes you take a little extra damage compared to using a 3rd unit with 300+ def.

How efficient is farming buster medals outside of EQ? Im not able to solo grade 3 buster quests and was wondering if it was worth it to camp the quest until a party shows up.

Dunno about ranked matches, but free matching is very fast and easy, though you will want at least 2 or 3 players total killing(lower grade is easier). You can get around 15 badges on average per clear and takes less than 10 minutes. Keep in mind that while you can still solo it easily, the badges are based in kills, hence why is better with more players.

You are not turning the weapon into a camo with the Form Change Pass (150 [120 with current discount] Form Change Tickets in the Recycle Shop), rather you are using one fully grinded weapon/camo as a skin for another fully grinded weapon (for example, my Ceres Zara DS is form changed to look like a Skia Blade).

4. It is asking for the Bonus Tickets that you get from scratching a certain number of times, not the regular AC Scratch Tickets; the option is basically there for people who didn't use the Bonus Ticket for the scratch it came from.

5 Yes but it requires a lot of coordination and everyone being good at AIS (5-6 missiles per person, they take one hit each to be destroyed each, and everyone need to coordinate to destroy them all while not having to get across the map and kill some at the other side.

I have seen this question asked and answered probably a dozen times; is there just an issue in the EN patch that it is worded poorly/incorrectly or something? Granted, I know it took me a while to figure it out on my own a long while back when I was also curious (I play on PS4), but iirc even swiki uses/used the same wording/phrase for both the regular/1x AC Scratch Ticket and the exchange AC Scratch Ticket, so might be an in-game issue/error where they just worded/labeled them poorly? Maybe a note could be added to the English patch to clear up confusion, or just change it entirely to where it isn't a 100% direct translation (as with some other translations from what I have seen), but lets people know what item it is talking about specifically?

If you have the Expert-only box checked, you can't join MPAs that have players without Expert unlocked (or as I like to call them, Mixed MPAs since they can have both Expert and Non-Expert players in them), thus those MPAs are greyed out. If you uncheck the box, you can join both Expert-only MPAs and Mixed MPAs.

If it was back in Ep.4 that you unlocked it (I had it unlocked then as well), they changed it somewhat recently so you have to re-unlock it. You can either be carried through the four-person version or struggle (depending on class) through the solo version to unlock the current requirement.

Takemi > I believe the odds are generally better in XH but you need a room and a solid connexion apparently. Servers have been unstable for me lately.

NightLightPro > upslot to 5s would be... err... 36%. Right now with the boost 46%, then use your boost item for a max of 96% I guess. If you don't upslot, it's always 60% which means 100% with a 40% item (which you can get anytime for 100 cubes)

They drop in XH, I tell you. Look, I dropped my share in Enchanted Forest XH when I farmed like a madman. I also once dropped from the Deus+Mother EQ XH.

You can only realistically drop 13* from XH. It can happen from SH under certain circumstances but it's waaaaaaay rarer than in XH.

nope, all SSA items are random drops from literally everything afaik (not 100% sure, I did quite a few runs of Endless but not as much as people farming or trying to nail 1 loop clear so maybe they can chime in). So yeah it could be everything from jackpot flowing grace to RIP Nature's melody

Because as far as I'm aware, the base game does this as well. Tweaker especially needs to check if you HAVE the required files, and then download files you need.

When you download the updates on PS4, it takes less than a minute or two to actually download it, but can take up to 20-30 minutes during the 'Copying...' stage after that, which is where, if I am not mistaken, it is double checking all the files and making sure they are correct/where they need to be; so it wouldn't surprise me if PC probably did something similar as well, but could be wrong.

It would probably be best to record your commentary as a separate track (using something like Audacity) and then add it into the footage when you go to edit, that way you can adjust the volume levels separately in editing.

Stuff from scratch can also work but that takes time, and it can also backfire(bad timed revivals/recolors, seasonal clothing dropping in value after a few months and so on)

There has been no mention of Chronos Stones being added as a drop to any other quest than the EQs they already drop from; the only thing we know is that the third non-drop Chronos Stone that we have been told about will be a title reward for getting a certain number of titles.

There was a Room Design Thread (http://www.pso-world.com/forums/showthread.php?221039-PSO2-Room-Design-Thread) quite a while ago (started on July 29 2014), but it didn't really last long (the last post was #57 and the gap between it and the previous post was ~9 months, with most of the posts being made in a 3~4 month period).

That said, it is so long dead, that if you really would like to revive the concept, it might be a good idea just to start a new thread about it yourself rather than necroing the old one.

i recommend neither, if you farmed the MHZ collab XH fields and can get Zara, i recommend those. if not, go for Celestial ones, overall higher stats and out pace App or Serafi daggers. Even getting Shien TD will outpower App/Serafi TDs

Serafi daggers = basically what was used as a basis for Djibril, since the latter is a re-skin of sorts, so by Serafi he actually meant Djibril

Technically, yes, the game is still EQ dependent with LQs with Web Panel events thrown in, though recently they have had a trend of having boosts for specific quests.
The only "elite" requirement comes from unlocking the Expert flag, but it is not solo dependent anymore, rather you can clear the either the solo or 4-player version of the required quest; all other solo content (like the Omega Masquerade UQ) is mostly for bragging rights with no significant gear locked behind completing it.
Currently we are in the middle of the New Year's LQ, which this year features drops that make getting the newly released 15* weapons more easy (though the Stone needed to obtain the best 15* weapons requires you to run the DF Persona EQ 50 times).

Maybe I'm missing something, but isn't there a way to have 200 ATK on a weapon with only 4 abilities? Lightstream Salvaxion's S1:Tech Boost gives an extra 2% damage if I can equip 200 T-ATK on the weapon, but if I'm gonna add an S1, S2, S3 and Phrase Weak to it, that leaves only 4 slots. Even with Grace Technique, I can only go up to 170 T-ATK by my calculation. Did I miss something of is this really the limit?

EDIT: After thinking about it, that S1 is kind of pointless. It's way easier and cheaper to get that 5% with Phrase Weak + S1: Immediate Intend. In the end, 30 T-ATK won't change much and more cash in your bank.

EDIT 2: Damn, even going to 200 ATK with 5 abilities is a pain, needed to rely on hard to obtain and/or rare abilities like Modulator, Sentence Triple, Less III, etc.. What were they thinking? They should have made it 150 for 2% and 1% per 50 ATK.

To access the game? I say it's a bit tricky. Not only do you need a Sega ID, but you will also need a Japanese account to download the game. I would recommend looking up videos about making a jp ps4 account.

As for translations, there's no way currently to translate Japanese text in-game. You'll have to rely on guides such as Bumped and the discord for information.

As for actually playing the game, it's very hard if you either haven't played the PC version with an english patch or without a guide. Nearly everything is in Japanese. I wouldn't recommend it without prior experience from the PC version.

To add to what ChaosX368 said, you could also buy the physical PSO2 EP4 physical disc (Japanese import) and play it with your non-JPN PSN. It's also possible to play without a SEGA ID now, but I'm not sure you can access your account if you already have one. That being said, we're talking about a game that came out in 2012 for PC, you could run it on a potato by today's standards with the English translation, so why even bother with the PS4 version?

The last time I checked, you need a weapon to be at +35 to unlock it's SAF. So to make 1 fodder, you need 480 x 2019 badges. Let's say you pre-affix your weapon and make 2 well affixed fodders so that you don't need to affix the Modulator weapon fodders, that's still 1440 badges. Next, you need to uplsot those fodders from 3 to 8.

How exactly is this an easy task? If it were that easy, the player shops would already be full of cheap 8 slot Modulator fodders.

The only hard part is 6s -> 8s really... extremely heavy on cubes yes, but only the real hard part. It being relatively easy =/= profittable, which is exactly the reason you do not see a million 8s mod fodders on the market. (Granted, 8 slotting isn’t very cube friendly or “easy”)

Not possible to get 200 with 4 slots. The highest is 195 @ Mana, Grace, Mark, stat 6. (ps, also not possible to reach 240 with 5s and every other later threshold). Though this does mean that the bare minimum affix is: stat 6, 35 soul, grace, reverie, mod/similars. As well as any other variants like app soul + doom 2/stat 5.

If it's like what I've experienced, if you're too close to persona then some of the numbers will appear above him off screen, if you angle the camera upwards you can see them appear over his head. An example, using rod shoot, hitting him with your normal attack then you'll see those numbers but the rod shoot's numbers will appear over his head.

The past few years, they have done away with exchanging one year's Weapon Badges for the next (in fact, I think the last time we could was from 2015 to 2016 Badges); the only Badges that we seem to be able to exchange for the current year's Badges are that same year's Anniversary Badges. Plus, the give away is that based on the price of the Solo PD Trigger, the exchange rate would have to be 1 for 1, and SEGA would never do that.

Well, but you'll get a reward when you hit 30 (not sure, I think you get one for 10 as well). I personally use an app on my phone call Click Counter, you just hit a button and the counter will increment, it also remembers where you were even if you restart your phone.

If it's just for 1 (or some few " wrong" levels) then it's no biggy. Excubes can be obtained (mainly) by recycling 10* weapons from recycle shop

At lower level it can be troublesome to get big amount of them but once you reach super hard difficulty, you will be able to get them very easily (mainly from emergency quests)

If you don't want to mess up with your mag leveling there also items to level single type of stats. Those items can be bought from Photon Drop shop. Those items require photon spheres which you can get (mainly) by exchanging 10* weapons and units (5 for the later) from recycle shop

When you use the weapon form pass, you keep both weapons, they just become account bound; undoing the form change does not unbind either weapon (an Owner Cancellation item from the Excube shop will not work), so make sure you don't use a camo that you hope to make a profit off of later.

You can't weapon category change from Takt to another weapon type, so if you do make the Takt into a Lightstream, the only way to change category with it is to exchange it back for the Amphitrite Stone at the loss of the 400 Excubes.

Luckily, Val weapons are some of the only sellable 13*s; to sell them, you just need access to MyShop; if you have Premium, you should have no problem, but if you are a free user, you can get 3-day MyShop Tickets from the FUN Scratch, though it is RNG to get them.
If you don't feel like spending AC or dealing with RNG, you could always desynth them for Gold materials and Saphards or Recycle them for ExCubes.

I recieved an already grinded +35 Austere-NT when I exchanged my fully grinded Austere-OT.

For future reference: I received a fully ground, 60-element +35 Austere-NT TMG when I used an unground, 30-element Austere-OT TMG for the exchange (basically an Austere-OT that you can directly buy from Zieg). As long as the weapon you choose to inherit from has 60-element and is ground to +35, the Austere-NT will have the element and grind that you would hope for. The Ares-NT that you must exchange will certainly have that, at least.

Usually Secret Phrases are part of the major livestreams that happen every couple of months or so, and you'll find those posted on the bumped blog (http://www.bumped.org/psublog/); they usually expire a week or two after the broadcast.
There are currently also weekly Keywords that come from the Puso Ni Comi anime, and you can find those in the thread for it here on the forum (http://www.pso-world.com/forums/showthread.php?238269-PSO2-Puso-Ni-Comi-Anime) or on the weekly maintenance post on bumped; those will all expire on January 8th, 2020..

Thank you for the non condecending answer. I asked because Revolucio did have a revival at some point. 2 years ago if I recall. I didn't care about Summoner at the time, but I was interested in the takt even though the series was pretty much deprecated for newer collection weapons. I didn't see it listed in the second collection, yet what I didn't know at the time was that the takt was hidden away in 13* Wanda's collection sheet. I figured it would be available in AQs, since the series is an area drop on SH. But the takt doesn't exist in AQs. I checked both swiki and visiphone to confirm this. I also checked the shops before making this post. Nobody is selling it. Oh well.

The consensus with overparse was that as long as you modified your damage dump plugin to where it's not the same as everyone else, used overmounter, and you don't go about posting your results with everyone publicly, you shouldn't get the ban hammer.

The people who have been banned by from using it were the type to publicly post logs and having their accounts reported by disgruntled players.

It's an external tool that attaches to the game's process. The tweaker and also astra are also against the TOS because both launch our plugins which hook on to the game to load our translations. Using the manual english patch also violated the TOS.

Ya, but considering the amount of screenshots and gameplay videos in English out there, you'd think that more people would be banned if this was a real issue. On the other hand, it seems that sharing the data you get from OverParse can get you banned.

Check for whether or not you already applied a form to your LS weapon. If you have a form already applied to the weapon, you need to remove it first, otherwise, it won't be listed. (because you can apply a form to a weapon, and then use a camo on top of that as well)

Yeah, both the base weapon and the skin weapon need to be fully ginded (+10 for OT [even without unlocking the potential] or +35 for NT); it' one of those things that is a bit of a pain, especially if you want to use Crest weapons or weapons from old collect files from before SAFs were introduced (when many were complacent with just getting them to 60% +32).

I think we have an entire thread for that. GuFi is supposed to be strong, yes. I absolutely cannot play Gu so I don't really see it but allegedly it is. The Dual Birds are a good pair of guns but we have better options nowadays.
As far as Crests go, I would honestly wait. I got a Lavis Cannon like 20 minutes after spending 3000 crests on one at Zieg's. (then again I was farming in the right place at the right time so...)

stronger than GU/HU but requires you to be locked to Atra TMGs w/Vampiric Life on it. GU/HU would benefit more from Dual Birds without having to constantly stop and heal thanks to automate and being tankier. S Roll Arts is effected only by FI stances as HU stances require you to JA and S Roll Arts is by no means a JA attack

You pick which weapon to inherent the stats and abilities from when trading in. If youre still needing Lumiere i recommend on grinding the LQ first until its gone even if you get the mats to convert a Jutus to Lumiere in the even a Lumiere drops for you. From there just do a series conversion

Mobbing: SRoll Arts literally everything, its that stupid good you can also use Reverse Tap for I-Frames either on groups or bosses if you know you wont be able to roll out in time. You no longer need to spam Shift Period on mobs like you had to in the past, SRoll Arts is just stupid good for mobbing and bossing. Alternatively SRoll Arts 2x and Sat Aim if you feel the need

Bossing: Satellite Aim, Infinite Fire T0, Elder Rebellion (can also be used on small mob cleanups or ranged mobs), Dead Approach (can be used on single target bulky mobs too), Bullet Squal (only in certain situations), Messiah Time for I-frames and not too shabby damage (dont recommend with CT unless you know how to setup), Heel Stab but in combo's (to ignore inital charge) but requires a bit of setup, Grim Barrage for positioning (and possible PA setups)

Refer to Mr3chi's post about the tree, I don't recommend Chase Advance but propose Dual Stances instead because you 99% of the time don't deal SE's on to anything (yourself) and even in mpa's everything just melts. If you add a status effect to your weapon (which is very niche now a days) it may work out but like I said, things die fast now a days(that covers the FI sub portion). You don't need Dive Roll Advance investments (3 SP) unless you really want to but remember you won't be using Rifle most of the time and GU TMGs have a natural I-Frame Roll already on you (Side, Back and Front rolls) but its completely optional (GU portion)

Came back to the Game after about a two year or so break. I saw when I logged on a couple days ago that the game was giving me the option to accept a Returning Player status that gives you benefits while it is active, and I chose to Decide Later on it since I didn't know if I would be able to commit time to the game.

Problem is, I can't find where to go or which NPC I need to talk to to activate the Bonus. I navigated the Inventory - AC Menu Options, looked at the Player / Storage Terminals, nothing. How am I supposed to redeem the bonus then?

GU/HU would benefit more from Dual Birds without having to constantly stop and heal thanks to automate and being tankier. You can check if the bonus is active under your status page (fourth menu top option) but I can't find any explanation as to where to go to actually activate it. Can it be somewhere on the interface when you choose what character to log in with ?

KaizoKage> it's a lot less than the usual because you can get up to 4 S-Abilities that have a 100% rate even on upslotting.
That being said the usual abilities will still have a lower chance to go through (I think it's like 80% with the usual 40% boost) but that's a lot better than 8 abilities at 80% each.
If you start from scratch you can just buy a Val Ars with 8 slots already, push it to Atlas and pronto you have an 8 slots Atlas Ars. Then change the weapon category.

I honestly would settle with 7s but unless you want that new SSA that gives .5% for a total of 4% on 8s, then go for it (SSA's count for .5%s)

The upslotting can be expensive depending on your RNG but you'll be using other SAFs anyways (like Astral Soul) so it'll be easy unless you add on something like Mana Reverie or Ether Factor

HU has other JA dmg increases so you lose out on those too since youre not JA'ing when when using SRoll Arts, thats why i said what i said but should have referred to the stance itself still helping it a bit but nearly as much as FI stances that require no JAs

1 i launch the game from PSO tweaker and never start , i check the task manager and it doesnt mark me to be running in a secondary function , but sitll i cant run it and i restart PC in hope to work this time

2 sometimes when i start PSO2 for some reason my head phones doesnt work properly ( im sure these arent the problem because it work in anything else

3 in consecuence of no 1 when i finish to play PSO2 for going into other game , the next game cant work because the laptop thinks im running 2 games at the same time (it happen if i stop playing world of tanks to into PSO2 for example)

do you guys know something about this , of course i asked in other places but no answer yet

quick question: should it be still a 2GB video memory card or I should I go higher like 4 GB to play T6

i) Try disabling both your Antivirus AND Windows Defender, then check if this behaviour continues.
ii) In some very rare cases some applications are set to output their video/audio to some non-default device. Next time you have no sound, open Volume Control and check to see if PSO2 is under your primary device or some other (for example it may be outputting audio to your monitor if it supports it).
iii) Maybe some PSO2 files are on bad sectors of your hard drive and cannot be read by the system. Perform am check for disk errors.

In general, if you wish to be a bit future proof, go with as much RAM as you can afford.
Higher end textures are really taxing on the GPU RAM and if you want to play fairly well to other games, invest in that.
You might want to look wait a little, though. There are rumors that NVidia is preparing GTX 1160 so prices on the 1060 will probably drop in price when it's released so it might become affordable for you and is quite an upgrade over the 1050.
