If you haven't already, you can trade in your old XQ and AQ stones for Photon Drops, Crystals, and Boosters at Recycle Shop 2 in the Shop Area; aside from that, AQs now drop Photon Boosters (when doing the AQ ARKS Mission, on VH+0 with no RDR and just running through killing enough enemies to get my Dark Blast, I usually end up with maybe a dozen or so).

If I'm not mistaken, it's in one of the recycle shops in the shopping lobby, in the section of the lobby where you can buy room decos and such, but note that a total of 12 ultimate boosters are needed for a weapon.

EDIT: Nevermind, I was thinking about converting old pyroxenes into photon boosters.
Converting photon boosters into ultimate boosters is in the photon drop shop, like Anduril is saying. ^^;

Photon Booster to Ultimate Booster is done at the Photon Sphere shop; there is now a second Shop there that is exclusively for using Photon Boosters.

I would argue that clearing solo PD is the fastest way to farm ultimate boosters if you can consistently achieve S-rank on it. Otherwise, farming photon boosters from AQs and then trading them for ultimate boosters is the fastest way.

Be aware that not all AQs drop photon boosters. I ran the Shironia AQ this morning, and I received zero photon boosters.

In particular, all AQ pyroxene stone drops have been replaced with photon booster drops (is the same true for the large stones?). Since Shironia AQ did not drop any stones before the replacement, it now drops no photon boosters.

However, the same should be true of the Kuron AQ, but I swear I got photon boosters the last time I ran it. Maybe Shironia AQ is glitched?

Anyways, there seems to be one or two special cases, but most AQs drop plenty of photon boosters

Did a VHAQ solo Ruins run with a single 1 minute burst just now and got 84 Photon Boosters so apparently the drop rate is quite high.

1. yes
2. assuming you're still using the same pc (and I think ISP/IP??), you shouldn't have to, if not, you'll likely be prompted for the e-mail code when logging in through the game
3. plenty of stuff to do including getting caught up with gear, waiting on the West release makes no difference aside you not playing any of the new content release from here until then.
4. apparently the SEA area or w/e that had the IP ban, got lifted not too long ago for w/e reason so apparently you don't need it anymore

Check the pulldown at the top, but to me it looks like you have cleared all the Episode 1 quests. If you have already completed the quest before the campaign, you should have already gotten the reward for the campaign.

start over then? getting to endgame is fast but you lose out on all your phasion. otherwise start remembering your e-mail somehow or just sit and wait for West release, up to you if youre okay with just skipping out on everything till that point

Yes, you can pause and resume at any point.

When it's done and before logging in the game for the first time, perform a complete file check to ensure that no files are missing or are corrupt (it can take up to an hour depending on how fast your cpu and harddrive are).

Kaizokage > it's a bit on the weaker side nowadays but the Demonia series for Hero got it's potential updated so if it doesn't want to drop you can simply exchange the weapon at some counter in the city and call it a day.
I dropped a Demonia feather in the Web Event quest (I think, it may have been the Halloween EQ though) so chances are the demonia series drops a bit easier to have people try and get that updated potential.
Otherwise qute frankly anything that's not an Akatsuki will do.

The weekly rankings. So few people run challenge that it's quite easy to rank in a position to earn SG. You don't even need to complete the run, just have to get a score high enough to earn a placing that pays out.

1st for 100
2 ~ 10 for 50
11 ~ 50 for 30

(The other rankings (interrupt, room, red box, TA) are
1st for 200
2 ~ 5 for 100
6 ~ 10 for 50
11 ~ 30 for 30
31 ~ 100 for 10)

The one for battle arena, for example, first place legend gets 2000 and goes all the way down to C rank for 40.

S atk because the class doesnt use any techs but affix your Wand for both S/T atk because theres a skill that utilizes them on the Wand only

That could be it since half of the PA achievements can be obtained with daily crafts which is how I got them. Guessing I need more or less 170 crafts if that's the case.

people just copy/paste their DPS charts and work from there, others who parse can do other experimental DPS routes and report them elsewhere (sometimes here in the Class threads), others have their own site/blog for specific classes like Bo for tutorials, DPS etc. I dont know anywhere where all the those numbers could be located in one place in English for people to use. Which is sorta why anyone who wants info like that either asks here or they do a little hard work and locate it themselves on swiki

I was missing somewhere between 100 and 117 PA crafts, so I did 9 of the ones that I unlocked via dailies which boosted the PAs on my characters and allowed me to unlock that last PA title.

OK, so both Tech and PA achievements and titles are complete. I got all of the weapon and unit craft titles even if I'm not done with all of the achievements (thanks to that craft nerfing that happened a little while back), so I guess I should tackle Timed Abilities then. Problem is, I never touched those before minus the daily ones and the Forest one I kept doing just to get 2 Lambda Grinders from Zieg.

Any decent guides that can explain how they work and more importantly, how to get out of the dead end that the daily crafts have left me? The only achievements I have are on page 5 and 6 which will eventually complete themselves with dailies, but as for page 1 to 4, I got squat.

Sometimes, if you don't have edit access to a Sheet, the little "+" signs that you see on the side won't properly expand; to fix that you just need to go to "File->Make a Copy/File->Download" and your copy should be able to expand them and you can see all the data.

When you put in your SEGA ID in the log-in, did you make sure to do it in all lower case?

That is a decent way to put the style of the game, though keep in mind that the game is still essentially running on a 7 year old+ system, so it may not feel as polished as those.

Timed abilities are not that complicated but there are several parts to them.
There's a distinction between making a timed ability boost item and making a time ability recipe.
Most of the achievements from the pages you mentionned are recipes.
So you choose the second option to make recipes, and when they come out you get some extra effects on them, like rdr boost and the like, and mayyyybe a secondary extra effect which is always some stat boost.
If you like the result, you can save it and have it readily accessable to create boost items. You can even save it into a recipe bank of 9 recipes that you can set up on your machine.

Now, the important part to remember is that making a recipe will count in more or less every category it covers.
Which means, if you do a recipe for AQ Forest, it will count once for AQ Forest and once for Naberius. Same reasonning applies to Ultimate.
Also, you only need to create lv1 recipes to unlock stuff. Doing lv3 recipes is only if you are after a particuliar bonus (there are achievements for getting high end auxiliary bonus).

Increase detailed models count is in the in-game visual settings.
However, they made it so that during certain concerts the game will automatically reduce the number of detailed models even if you have the model count set to the highest.

It varies by class

Most weapons have 11 each, except Jetboots(4), Dual Blades(7), and Wand(1). Successor classes have their own unique PAs, with 4 per weapon. Gunslash also has 11, but it's usable by every class. For techs there's 7 for each element including support techs, bringing the total to 42. 3 compound techs, and 3 simple compound techs. Summoner pets each have 5.

That means:

Hunter and Fighter have 33
Ranger, Gunner, and Braver have 22
Bouncer has 11
Techer has 1
Summoner has 48
Hero, Phantom, (and unless it gets more, Etoile) have 12
Gunslash has 11
42 Techs
and 3 simple compound techs.

Normal Compound techs and Complex PAs I'm not counting because they're more like skills/super moves than PAs.

They've been better about it lately, but there's still a few PAs for every weapon type except Jetboots and successor PAs that straight up aren't worth using. Older classes just have way too many, so the super niche ones get pushed out entirely in favor of something that can do the same thing, but also something else. I agree that it definitely depends on the situation and what you're trying to do though.

Step by step:

This is not a comprehensive answer, but it hits the broad strokes of your questions.

Equipment drops are usually tied to either specific enemies at specific levels or specific missions on specific difficulties. While there is some equipment that is farm-able at all times, top-tier gear is usually tied to the highest difficulty on Emergency Quests (EQs), whether it be because they only drop in the EQ or a trade material from an EQ is needed to obtain the gear.
Emergency Quests are missions that only appear for a certain amount of time (typically 30 minutes, but some can extend up to an hour if they have phases) and they can include caps on the number of times you can run them in that time (for example, Raid Bosses can typically only be fought once during the EQ period). The newest EQs are where you'll typically find the newest gear, and those are usually schedule-only, while older and Seasonal EQs can appear at random on the hour.

As the game is now, and assuming that it is the same on NA release, you can likely get from LV1 to two capped (LV90/90) classes in less than a week if you try to power through it quickly, but if you take your time, it will probably take like a month (though there is currently an equipment requirement to get past LV75 that may make it take longer because of it being a new server). The Free Field content all unlocks within the first 10 levels, with all other content (different mission types, higher difficulty levels, end-game non-EQ missions, etc.) unlocking at certain levels or by completing certain Story Quests.

Around the end-game, there are certain missions that are solo challenges, but other than that, if you get the mechanics down well enough, pretty much all content is solo-able in a reasonable amount of time. However, if you are focused on loot over challenge, due to EQs being available only for a certain amount of time, you will most likely want to join MPAs (Multi-Party Area groups) for them, especially if its an EQ that has no run cap. Since Fi/Bo can easily get 100% Crit, there are better options if you extend a 13*. The +35 stats on a fully extended 13* JB are 1980S/2039T versus Zirenheit's 1771S/1804T, so from there it is just a matter of the Potential and number of SSA slots; if you are going for the most straightforward upgrade, then an Invade-NT JB is a good choice since it has all 3 SSA slots, and its potential's damage increase is non-conditional, so it won't drop off when not matching element like Zirenheit's does.

Definitely noticed that UH mobs are trying to kill me compared to the sandbags that was EH.

There isn't a common hp, as it depends on class, a little bit on race/sec combination, units and affixes (and if you have reached lvl75 with all classes). Getting more HP is only advisable if you instantly die from full hp and not in 2 hits. Since recovery options in PSO2 are too numerous and cost effective, it's more advisable to just "switch" to a weapon with lifesteal capabilities when you run out of -mates than attempt to increase effective HP (for example Atlas Ex with S4: Vampiric Strike)

its like Darkmits says, it varies on class, race, units, affixes (unit and weapons), etc but to give a decent estimate anywhere from 1200-1700 is sorta average given the conditions mentioned. Gitgud and dodging is always necessary reguardless of how much hp you have anyways


Getting more HP is only advisable if you instantly die from full hp and not in 2 hits. Another thing to consider is the possibility of Rappy Shine being used to reach 1800 hp. It gives 777 hp, but no defense, resistances, or pp, which comes out to being more effective hp than the lost defense. I see most players with decent middling affixes hovering around 1200-1300 without deband or guts drink. If people are reaching 1800+ without those, while still having decent pp (from other units), it's more likely rappy shine, though how much longer rappy shine is going to be better effective hp than units with actual defense and resistances, I'm not sure.

This is a question for people who have S ranked EP3's story mode. The last story quest of the Omnibus (Apprentice Zia fight) seems to be approached differently from the other quests; utilizing AIS majorly for the fight to even have a chance at beating it in time. I seem to have trouble S ranking this mission as it seems I'm about 2 minutes or so off from getting an S. How would you approach this mission? I start off clearing the initial mobs and getting rid of the Exodas before mounting the AIS.

Its rather easy destroying the oncoming mobs, as I don't want to sit there taking hits using the AIS laser, but is that the wrong approach? I take the opportunity to get a couple of hits in when Apprentice opens her mouth, and then attack the orbs on both ends when its closed. I try to clear mobs as quickly as I can, as I know any AIS loss will ruin my speedrun entirely. Given the nature of the conditions, I believe zerg rushing Apprentice is a bad idea.

The current version of Ep.1-3 is the omnibus quest version, so if you didn't clear those, that's the reason.

Adding to what other people have said, they DID change the order of events/streamlined the chronology of stuff that has happened so you might not notice it if you haven't played through before (probably in line with PSO2 anime)

I had the same issue. You just need to change to episode 5 then go to the bridge. When you go back to the Quest Counter, it should unlock.

Dim series is your go-to budget weapons for any class

as for prepping for ET, consider w/e Chronos Stones or Lightstream you have and maybe category change them. assuming you've managed to make some.

also remember, Sega will likely try to power gear everyone again with free stones near ET release along with EXP tickets, just keep a look out for it

Most (all?) of the stuff from Extreme Quests can be exchanged for 1 Photon Booster a piece (including catalysts). The same is true for AQ stones: small and large AQ stones trade for one Photon Booster a piece.

If there are stones that don't recycle (like Magatsu stones and Elder pyroxenes), you could dump them into Material Storage and then forget about them.

Depending on how you see things.
I consider you can't use a class well if you're a casual - that is to say, if you actually go through the hoops and stuff to make sure you "use well" the classs of your choice, you stop being a casual.
If you're only concerned with survival, any class will do, just equip Rappy Shine.
If you're concerned about DPS, Hero, Gunner... Braver? are your best bets, I think. Other classes can achieve good dps but they require a lot of hoops.

I'm having trouble finding something that matches those parameters while also being cost-friendly.Cleasis can be upgraded to Schvelle for the S-slot which will help with lowering the total cost in getting the desired stats. Other than that, the following should definitely be "fairly" cheap:

+30 T-atk, +3PP - Noble Technique (this should cost less than 5million, maybe Elegant is not far off in price?)
+35 T-atk, +3PP - Magi The Soul (easy to synthesize because of abundance of Ex-Magi the Soul)
+30 T-atk - S8: T-atk Up [if upgraded to Schvelle]
+40 T-atk - Persona Reverie (overabundant)
+5 PP - Stigma (I don't know if many 6s Stigma exist, but I've gotten quite a lot from random Knight Gears and other rare bosses)
+4 PP - Spirita III (overabundant, almost always paired with Stigma above from Knight Gear drops)

Total: 135 T-atk, +15 PP

The benefit is that Stigma with Spirita III and Knight Gear Soul (which will help produce Magi the Soul) is a fairly common combo. So assuming that they come with a "stock" 6slot Schvelle unit, they can first affix the S8: T-atk up to get done with the easy part, and then combine 3x (Knight Gear + Stigma + Spirita III) + 2x Persona Reverie + Noble Technique to get everything else in one go. I think that even Ability Success +30% will be enough for it.

Sigh, I have been entirely wrong. Knight Gear Soul cannot be used for Magi the Soul. Anyway, just 1 copy of Ex-Magi Soul and just 1 copy of any blue soul on the affix simulator gives 90% on Magi the Soul.

As long as you make sure to select the Profound as the base weapon (instead of one of the Falz weapons) when you upgrade it to Celestial, then yes, it maintains the same affixes.

Without taking into consideration upgrading your Novelle into Liberte (which I don't think we know the stats for at this moment), the choice comes down to the old HP v PP.
While considering the upgrade, Schvelle is now a dead-end set that will likely still last you a good while until we get significantly better 13* units, and Liberte stats will more than likely have more ATK and HP, though I doubt the PP will be as high as Scvelle, unless they pull a Zenesis/Qliphad with that upgrade.

Hold off and see how Liberate or Orbs units are because Schvelle units are the 12* rarity entry units: Utility first but easily power creeped not too long after. The smart thing to do while this 15% is here is to make materials you need for your build and either do the final part on next affix week (obviously in late Jan or mid Feb because New Years Event) or if your build is sufficient enough, finish it anytime with a 40/45% affix boost. Lightstream is not power creeped enough to necessarily drop them all together right now

What weapon are you using? What weapon are they using? What SSAs? What's your subclass? Are you fighting the same things as them? There's a lot that can go into differences in damage and 3-4x is a lot more than the difference between the stances, you can tell that by looking at the numbers. Fury stance is technically only around 5.5%% weaker than guard stance with GSA active.

It could just be that they have way better gear than you in general, or a really specific niche build for the exact content they're doing.

Besides the basics like having GSA active, TAJA active, Brave Stance active, there are several things making the gap albeit 3-4x as much seems impossible in raw numbers comparing 15* to 15* even in spite of S1-3. One thing is buffing yourself with team tree and shifta, another is food buffs, which for speed clear videos get ridiculous because players can stack a whole lot of food summing up to some hefty attack bonus and they come also from various events or points for idola/some 7-11 events?/dengeki last I checked. The other thing is drink, as first of all Hunter absolutely shouldn't use shifta drink since normal attacks are your only source of non-PA damage. You either use PP drink for PA damage up (10% vs 3-4% from shifta) or weak point damage from random drink (15% on weakpoints or 20% with premium). Other bit of optimization include elemental weakness matching for about 5% damage increase and making sure to take absolutely every bit of attack on both hunter and fighter trees, having PP Slayer active, and finally making sure you're no comparing yourself to rare chase tree that gives big damage bonuses to enemies under status effects.

Well it's a welcomed change, the combo of this and L/Tech C Parrying makes me a harder to hit target now.


The stats on Schvelle are:

while those on Novelle are:

HP +180
PP +3

Hi all, lately ( well like 4 or 5 months now ) I have been some how away of game, only logging to do some EQs and check some of the new fashion items and just until now I see we are in an 15% affix boost week (almost ending).
I know this late for affix my units ( I have 2 sets of the new exchange 13* units, 3 sets of lightstream and 1 or 2 equdic grudge ) for my main jobs (r-attck for Ra & Gu) but in reality I need to affix sets with each T, R & S for all my charas.
I know I can keep going without lagging much with my current sets but I want to upgrade, but with the lack of time left and my budget (400m plus full sets of add ability of each type and all the units drops that I have been hoarding all 6s and up but haven't checked what abilities are in them fully ) what you think I can do?
1 set of decent units with R-attack with 5s (i think 6s will be to much $$ for my budget) or start doing fooders rest of this boost and save for next affix week?
have any affix or affixes recipes to start?
I have been using https://malulleybovo.github.io/PSO2AffixingAssistant/ instead of affix simulator if you have any idea or recipe you want to share.

Let me see if I've got this right: the Orb series's potential basically makes it so you recover 5PP every second as opposed to recovering 5PP over a second with the benefit of recovering the PP during situations when natural PP recovery is usually not active (during a PA, charging a PA/Tech, etc.), but with the drawback that any Skills that increase natural PP recovery (like Phantom PP Restorate) do not work?
I would assume that attack PP recovery is unaffected?
Does it mean that the TMG is useless for Hero since it kills the Reload action?

If I recall, when you see equipment on other people, you are seeing your stats for the equip requirement, not theirs.
As to being able to equip it, have you gotten all your classes to lv75 for the stat bonuses? Getting Braver and Bouncer to lv75 should give you an extra 60 DEX.

That is for Weapon and Unit crafting, so you can't use it for 13* units since they can't be crafted.
Looking at the lv90/90 stats for Ra/Hu, the only way to get to 560DEX without dumping points into DEX Up Skills is to make sure you have the lv75 Class Title bonuses from both Braver and Bouncer.

Yes, it is correct. The Takt is particularly good for Pets that are usually PP starved (like Redran and form-changed Viola), and just generally good in every situation where you don't need a Rykros.

If they have decided that, for example, the EQ on Sunday 10pm will have the AIS boss as phase 3, then every single player participating in the EQ at Sunday 10pm will have AIS boss phase.

It's similar to "random / unscheduled" EQs. Sega has the full weekly schedule of EQs, but reveals only half of them with maintenance updates to retain an element of surprise.
