I think offensive PBs got buffed a lot.

Ketos now heals, about half of your HP, I think.

I believe your photon blasts damage depends on the Mag Level now. And the boost is quite substantial. My Helix Proi (the unicorn) does 30-60k hits now, so its nice during bursts since it actually hits mobs. (So much so I usually get my PB right back.)

Ketos Proi, heals. But it's more of a small HP regen effect, not a big heal sadly.

Is that a huge mistake? I have the katana that the Hu/Br/Gu can use, and I'm a bit fickle. I see myself switching around a lot. ;)

All free players have 2 character slots since that update. You should be able to delete and recreate that character safely. Just make sure you didn't already create a third character on another ship and forgot about it.

No, it's like XQ affixes Alter ___. It can only remain on a weapon if you have 3 in the pool and is 80%. In other words, if you want it on a weapon, you have to find/buy the weapon with it on it already (found with mark on it).

K. That helps a bit. I guess subclassing braver is smarter when using bows. I also like that 20% heal when you pull off Just Reversal w/ Braver. So helpful, especially when riding solo.

Nope, just the 2. When the update came out, Sega gave an extra character creation pass to people who had already bought a second character, which allowed you to create a 3rd character once. Since you can't have more than two free characters, creating that 3rd character would mean you would have to delete 2 characters to recreate 1, to keep within the limit.

If you clear 1-15, then continue to 20~60, you won't get it.
You need to start from 16~60.

As long as you cleared all 60 stages (dose not matter if different day) you'll get the catalyst so long as your stage unlocked does not reset to 0 after 1 week when you last started to unlock floors.

You must cleared all 60 stages period. If you or anyone joins a party and finished the final floors, you/they won't get the bonus for the catalyst unless they cleared all the other stages before the final floor.

The bonus can be obtain infinitely per day since I don't remember any limits. You just have to finish all floors before it resets after a week (it will automatically reset once you clear all floors).

Oh caves? Well I'll be dam, I thought you where mentioning about the firefly figures from tunnel's discharge event (I get those two mix up because.......tunnels seems more closer to fireflies than caves to me). So yea its caves only but really rare.

I'm not sure if the rainbow in city clears for ruins.

uh no.... i actually think its pretty weak. i just tried it out on enemies with a lvl 1 million arrow disc, i can pretty much say its good, but not great. i'm hitting 900s on normal spots with my 11 star bow, and in SH anything under 2000 is weak, even if its fast. but im a katana braver, so it might be different for bow bravers. but no worries, there i absolutely no way million storm can destroy in SH.

edit: and it takes too long to kill enemies. shunka hits 30,000 automatically. so yea.

If you're a Katana Braver comparing a Bow PA to Shunka, no wonder it comes off as weak to you. I've also had no trouble keeping enemies from reaching me using it; Nothing seems able to move while it's being hit.

I have 114 PP currently; Working on improving that.

As stated above, it seems to make mobs flinch with every hit; Since the hits are pretty much constant, the mobs are constantly flinching, unable to attack me; Basically, mobs are forced to eat every tick that does hit.

I have successfully mopped up every spawn of Sub Tunnels in Hard and Very Hard without being hit simply because the mobs don't get a chance to move while I'm nailing their asses; and that's just me playing solo. If I even brought NPCs, nothing would be able to do jack shit, because even the mobs that don't seem to flinch - Gilnas, Gilnach, those random Tranmizer spawns - would still have to contend with other players/npcs.

Hence my question.

lol ok, well then im actually going to compare it to backhand smash instead, 32000 automatically, instakill trash mobs. its the same thing. million storm's aoe is not the best, so i can compare that to kanran kikyou alright? as for making enemies flinch, kanran makes enemies fall down. but anyways, i know bow will never be capable of doing that. still, people will be more inclined to use penetrating arrow for mobs and banishing arrow with kamikaze/final nemesis combo on bosses. million arrows doesnt feel like it would replace anything. plus due to TD, if you dont instakill enemies, you're not doing a good job. flinching enemies only does so much, they will still get to teh base by the time you drain your pp without even killing one goldradah. so its basically wasted PP, might as well using final nemesis, because it uses less PP, both locks you in place tho either way...

This may be a stupid question, and I apologize if it is, but I just found out some weapons have additional properites, i.e., Blue Floris (a tail type weapon) has Dragon Hunter on it.. which I'm not sure if it's on all Blue Floris, or is it a potential that needs to be unlocked (which how do I do that?) or if it's just a random ability?

And another question, Weapon Camo's, are they just to change the looks or do they also add something special?

If you have it unlocked you can do the Ruins story quest, I believe they spawn in there.

If you're still paying attention to this question, I looked up Million Storm on the JP wiki. Here's what it says:

8 pp every 1 second
1 hit every 0.3 seconds

So you have (114 - 35) / 8 = 9.875 seconds
9.875 seconds / 0.3 = 32.917

Which rounds down to 32 hits

32 hits * 500 = 16k

For your whole pp bar. That's even worse than the original calculation.

I'm looking at one of the SHAQ weapons with six abilities on, but I want to replace Arm III with Elder Soul, and Freeze III with Burn (any level), while keeping all the other abilities. With the recent affixing changes (like Soul Receptor), I have a question...

I'm looking at one of the SHAQ weapons with six abilities on, but I want to replace Arm III with Elder Soul, and Freeze III with Burn (any level), while keeping all the other abilities. What I want to know is, is there any way for me to 100% this? Or any way to do it with at least reasonable success rates?

You're supposed to collect 300 different weapons, as in, collect them manually, not through trading or purchase. Once your weapon library reaches 100/200/300, you will receive each stone.

How does the element conversion works? I have a 24 lightning element elysion. so i put like 4 lightning spells on it or if i put 4 ice spells on it, is that how it works, as long as you have 4 elemental spells on the rod match.
example: i put 2 dark spells and 2 ice spells on my elysion that is 24% lightning. no bonus
but if i put 4 lightning spells on my elysion that is 24% lightning, i will get 50% bonus.

Generally, you just wait it out. The benefits of Weak Bullet in a party outweigh the damage you'd do otherwise. Use PAs until you're out of PP, then let it recharge a bit, wash, rinse, repeat.

While I'm still too low level to do them, in my experience so far, usually you ask in your team and get a few people to go with you.

Yes, they have better drop rates for everything, especially when you're at high risk where the enemies are commonly boosted or rare (boosted/rare = higher drop rates). Higher levels also means higher drop rates.

AQ are practically free, but at some point you'd have to rotate to other AQs.

Deband Cut used to be an ok 1 pointer for leftover SP, but now that it's the last skill requiring deband advance to be lv5, it's effectively 3SP for that 5% reduction. Even then, unless if stacking heavily damage reduction and hp, most stuff tend to hit hard enough for deband cut to not really matter.

I have a similar experience when it comes to spam grinding, it doesn't work for me and I end up using a lot in the long run. I had no trouble getting 2 affixes on susano though and I'm content with it.

Edit: I also grinded my Nasuyoteri over weeks rather than one day.

i honestly feel that this is sega's little scam to make you play for longer periods. its their way of prolonging your playtime, so you dont just grind things to the max immediately, you'll always hafto spend at least a billion hours before you can lv3 latent. it makes sense as well, why they would do it. either way, you hafto make tons of meseta in the 9 digits, or wait before you grinda again.

Hey guys, a few quick questions, My elder pain has poison V and only poison V, is it worth keeping it or trashing poison all together for possibly power III and Vol Soul?(high slot affixing isn't my thing) thanks for any input. not sure if it matters but its element is light not sure that effects the poison rate.

Also are there any downsides to crafted units like weapons (aside from losing the original abilities like resistance and stuff) because I just crafted some exlv. 7 units and all 3 have 315/287/287 each which seems very good (for me at least I was using the flame set with 175/175/175 prior so it was definitely an improvement for me.)

No, just the maximum level increased ten more, and more new recipe, Tech have lv.2 tech recipe that cost 8 disk and 20k meseta with better effect then lv.1

Already grinded 3 11 star weaps and got their potentials to level 3，not much difference if you use +1s all the way through and give Dudu some cool down time. (Sharp cycler, Burt gable and twin filphins) but I've never spent a cent in this game thus far so buying 11 star weaps won't be happening to me any time soon. And I spent a total of 3mil grinding the weaps, I remember grinding sharp cycler felt so goddn easy when I waited 3 whole months of no grinding/affixing until boost week and it was success all the way through, not a meseta wasted.

It's about a 12-13% damage increase. Since the heal is based on damage dealt, greater damage output is better. It wouldn't be a HUGE increase as far as healing goes, but the damage boost is worthwhile.

I hit the ground running and have been having a blast getting back into Phantasy Star again, haven't played since PSU Xbox. I'm now a 44 Ranger/20Hunter. I just had some questions.

I've been following this thread I found (http://www.reddit.com/r/PSO2/comments/237ucq/newbie_planning_to_roll_rangergunner_needs_tips/) and I went ahead and bought myself a Gloam Rain to use when I need to catch Hunter up after running a few EQs. Is there anything else I should look to buy with those Pyroxines?

Also, the team I joined pulled me into a VH Mining Defense after I unlocked the difficulty. I found 2 10* weapons and a lot of 10* units from running it with them twice last night. I understand I can trade in the weapons for a ticket since I have Premium, but is there anything I should do with the Units? Any 10* weapons that stick out that I should consider?

Also, on the subject of Units, I have a Tian set +10 with Shoot II/Fang Soul with a random leg Unit I found in an EQ. When should (or should I?) upgrade to a Gloam/Gwanman? Anything I should specifically use for a Leg Unit? I play a Deuman Male if that changes anything.

No, none of them do

Banish Arrow can charge, but the only way to increase its damage is with JA. Charging it makes it fly faster and have a larger explosion (which can be a bad thing)

Last time I checked the time on banish doesn't increase with charging, just the AoE. If it DOES it's definately not 10 seconds though. 10 seconds is how long it lasts before your first hit. As in you hve 10 seconds after hitting something with it to hit it again.

Heya.

1. Pyroxine weapons are good to accumulate some Excubes. 20 Falz stones will equate to one weapon, which in turn makes one Excube if I remember right. You can also convert some 9* weapons into 10* weapons with AQ and SHAQ stones, which can then each be converted into a cube as well. These Pyroxine weapons cannot be used to make 10* passes though.

2. Personally, I consider all 10* drops in TD as fodder to convert to things I want. Like cubes for the weapons, and Photon Spheres and Grinders for the armor. Up to you to decide what to do with them in the long run. You could convert the armor and weapons into 10* passes too. Most good armor's 10* as well.

3. Personally, I have no idea. I don't use that set. I'm also not sure if it's still as costly as it once was. I use the Caliburn Set for my Gunner myself.

however, the answer to your question is No.

If you're hoping for something good, look at the drop tables of each monster and study them to determine your drops. just because they're untekked, doesn't mean the drop will change, that Item will never change the moment it dropped and got it.

now I know studying drop tables are a pain. actually, I had fun studying them.

For TD, you would have to have it equipped the entire run. The drops are set on kill and are pretty much just sent to the crystal's drop table until it's broken.

The fastest way is to enter aim mode and throw a talis at the ground. The other fast way is to switch weapons

Resources I have looked at say a certain number of enemies need to be killed. If I were to take a guess, this means you need to get S rank, and then every Slow Starter in your party goes hyper mode

This would imply that them going hyper mode also tells you to go to the boss room. Time to test?
