Probably same reason a few players were having their characters load as a crumpled up pile of clothes: Files are missing or corrupted from your install. Just do a File Check, should fix your issue... Maybe/c.

It is a PP cost reduction and a damage increase. But the potentials are a little different between the weapons though.

For example, Jetboots has a 3% damage increase while Twin Blades has a 6% damage increase. (Level 3)
But the PP reduction may be higher for Jetboots than Twin blades, not sure about that.

As for soul affixing boost, it's stat 3 only iirc. Yeah, as ridiculous as this is if you got stat 1,2, 4 or 5 it doesn't boost.No, they boost everything that has III involved. So it boosts multiple IIs combining into a III, IIIs transferring over, or multiple IIIs combining into a IV. For example, 3 IIIs will get you a 40% rate on IV, but with a soul boost, it becomes 60%. It's a cheaper way to get IV (compared to the sure fire 3x IV method) but comes with a little risk unless there a 10% affix boost.

so why did they put a new weird looking sub unit in the xie exchange shop for? it's even worth 50 of those weird badges? is there any use for it?

And I'm just curious, but how long will it take to get 300 goddamn badges for weapons? why can't we just have 1 badge and that's it? taking up too much space in my inventory... is it possible to exchange other badges just for the weapon badges?

15 out of four runs so far, each run has been 20 minutes, so about 7 hours of playing to get 300 badges going off this.

It's from the quick menu -> Communication sub-menu (at the top) there is something called "Party maker installation/removal" just above "change online status"'

R-Atk boost with a spread of affixes to give you PP. A good example is Jiorg Soul, Shoot 3, Modulator, Shoot Boost with PP craft on a Saiki set. This gives you 120 attack with 11PP per unit (plus the 25 PP set effect). You shouldn't really need to invest in any sort of HP at all except in content like Ultimate.

Generally most people run 150-160PP+ now, unless they're in Ultimate where they'll drop the PP to get HP so they don't get killed much (unless they use +100HP timed abilities instead).

A budget is helpful to know how up-to-date you're able to be.

You can trade bronze to silver, gold can be only obtained from quest reward/emergency code reward.

Not really, but one of them (the donuts) are works like triboost

Thanks, I kept checking the jp wiki an the text has been greyed out so I suppose it just got updated not too long ago, looks like i wont be spending my silver badges i guess

And ..... less need to craft, since it gives +100HP by default? The defense .... not that good, but probably enough for newer player? o-o

Edit : I personally plan to get Xie's unit as much as possible though (if I ever get the time) ...... then break them all into mats o-o

I have a mouse with 12 programmable keys, would it be better to bind subpalletes to it and switch weapons with 1-6? Right now it's the other way around.

all of her weapons have the same latent, from what I hear it's 6% dmg increase/6% pp recovery. 100% sure once someone fully latents it on jp wiki but more than likely this will be it

There's 2 latent variant for new *13 from Xie, both latent are basically the same, but has different DMG boost value probably way to balance the game :^)
Don't know if PP effect being the same or different though, need some time after bunch of people getting their hand on it and test it out.

Damn, there's a huge jump in price between between 4 slot and 5 slot units with Diabo Soul. Considering that I need 9 of those to make my 5 slot units, that's quite pricey. How common are 5 slot unit drops from Diabo Igrithys anyway?

upon first glance, they look pretty shitty, but thought i'd get a second opinion. (of course, the jwiki doesn't have the s-res/r-res values yet)

The only thing they have going for them is 100 hp each but you can get that with hp unit crafts on a set that still has more damage and PP for its set bonus.

Anyone playing pso2 as a non-steam game on steam? If so how did they get it to work? I've already gone through old threads on the subject. My pso2.exe won't launcher by istelf, steam or not, even if i start it as admin. It only seems to work when it's started through the launcher.

Put the tweaker as a non steam game, and then click the option to not close Tweaker in options for Steam to say, "Hey, I'm playing PSO2 and stuff". I don't know anyone that goes straight to launcher, seems redundant in adding it as a steam game at that point.

Various enemies in the game use Magic.

Goronorazan (Fat Dragonkin in Chair,) Luda Sorcerors / TD3 Flying Insect things, Breedhas, Quartz Dragon, Dragon Ex, Blu Ringadha (Attacks that come from his Rings, plus the Spear swipes that shoots out 1 - 3 projectiles when he is weakened,) and some other enemies I can't remember use Magic.

Falz Arms when there are two attacking in sync uses Magic when it flings a Ball of energy at you or a Beam (Beam is Dark Falz EQ only.) Apos Dorios mainly uses Element based Attacks. Dark Falz Elder's Eye / Hand Laser is an Element attack. The waves of Energy, Flame Discs, Balls and stuff that Dark Falz Loser uses are Element based. Most of Magatsu's attacks are Element based.

There's actually a lot of enemies in the game that use Magic based attacks, but most deaths in the game will come from Melee attacks (Ultimate Quests are a very good example of this.) If you get Units, you want ones that focus mainly on S.Def.

Is there a way to obtain the mag Down Devices via any other method than Net Cafe points? Trying to clear the bars on my mag before capping and I'm not sure how to get rid of some linger points without using one of these.

I'm not talking about the one that reduces your mag by 1 level I mean the food that just lowers one specific bar to empty basically.

is it worth wasting a 250% for a Limited quest, it seems that gold badges only drop through Emergencey codes and they still drop rarely with 250% on, for me it only has increased my gold badge rate per run by 1 (3 gold badges/run including the 2 for completing the quest at the end).

If you're not interested in the Nox weapons, then yeah, it's probably not worth using drop boosters.

I have not a had a decent sword in my life yet, still stuck with a sharp cycler that i got last year before 11 star drops rates were buffed :'(


I don't understand why sword drop rates are teh worst, i get shitton of daggers but not 1 sword jesus.

50% Triboost......that'll be very handy for the 3 jobs i need to 75 (all under 55 :( )

This LQ doesn't seem as a congested with mobs as the previous one.....of course the other had the constant Vibraces with the huge chunk of EXP from the fortune one....

The food items last only five minutes.

Still makes the Triboost one the most useful by far, since you can just pop it after a boosted boss or Magatsu dies.

Quite rare despite supported by "Trainer" latent.


Did they announce a 10% boost week for the 3rd anniversary of PSO2?
We have webpanel event going on now, they're probably being put as one of those panel reward.
Check pso2 jp official site to view the current panel status and point counts.

I've read quite a few guides on the topic, but they are old and mostly guide me toward using stuff that ends up giving me stuff like +65 Tatk (I've been going for Elder Soul/Technique IV/Spirita III/Stamina III) when apparently over 100 is common now. I've heard good things about Apprentice Soul but I'm not sure where she even spawns or what that soul actually does, I'm not sure how many slots are really a good idea to push for or what the current top things to fill slots with are, and I'm not sure how much meseta I should be expecting to drop to accomplish this. I do prefer to get at least some HP but obviously value PP and tatk a lot more, but otherwise I don't really even know what I should be wanting here. I feel like in terms of building my character to be strong this is the last major system in this game I don't fully understand.

Sadly no. Seems like mobs only drop bronze and silver medals and you can only get gold through codes and upon finish.

Try Elder/Tech III/Spirita III/Alter Magia. That way you get full synergy from Elder with Tech3 and Spi 3, and instead of using 3 fodders for Tech 4 to gain 5 TATK, you use 3 fodders for 20 TATK with Alter Magia.

I really need to update that affixing guide, but not sure how to present it.

The trend nowadays is to PP craft all units and run with minimal HP, then stack full ATK on units, although you'll need a tankier set of units for UQ if you do that.

As for costs... it really varies because it's like, 70% based on the player economy and 30% on Dudu fee. As a general rule of thumb though, the cost of fodders should be at least equal to the Dudu fee, i.e. if your unit costs 1 million to affix with 5 fodders, buy expensive affixes like Modulator, Flict/Alter etc to shove on to make it worth the cost. 4S is decent IMO, or 5S during boost week. Any higher is if you're rich and hardcore. There's a huge difference between cheap 4S like Elder/Tech3/Stam3/Spi3 and expensive 4S like Guranz/Tech3/Flict/Mod.

What about Hiei? The set effect outclasses pretty much everything that isn't specialized (gloam, negro, tian) or Saiki/Brisa/Magatsu+Vento.

Oh right, I forgot that I need to thank you for your affixing guide. After stumbling around and spending 200k more than I should have making 3 slot units while trying to follow your guide I finally figured out how affixing worked lol.

I'm new to crafting and I just got really lucky with an Extend Lvl. 1 on my katana and it received the All Classes bonus. So here's my question:

It will retain that bonus through further extensions, correct?

I think the bonus will be lost if you re-craft it.
At least according to the guide on bumped.org/psublog/pso2-crafting-system-mini-guide/

Please take note of the following situations:

Items will lose their all-class status and other special parameters during the crafting process.
By achieving a Great Success (大成功), the item may gain the chance to be used by multiple classes or reduce the stat required to equip it.
However these parameters are lost again upon re-crafting the item.

The reason that Diabo is more expensive than Guranz, despite PP Souls being much more desired than HP Souls, is because people are actively playing Ultimate Lillipa. And most people that still play Ultimate Naberius often ignore all Diabos unless it's a boosted rare one. If I were you, just go with Guranz Soul, instead, since 3 PP will actually add more to your damage in the long term; 30 HP won't (unless that tiny difference gets you killed, I guess...but that's another problem on its own).
Also, a lot of people use the upslotting method when affixing units by going from 4 to 5 slots. Riskier, but also a lot cheaper in a lot of cases.

i can't decide between Hu/fi or Hu/Br

I do about 1500~ more damage for PAs like Guilty break and ride slasher on Hu/fi than Hu/br, but i'm not sure if its worth it if you have to be in the front for that damage to proc,

meanwhile on hu/br i dont hafto worry about being in the front, and pp recovery doesnt feeel so bad since i maxed out that normal atack damage skill.

anyone have extra advice?

How do people manage to get like 6 or 7 slots on their units while I can't even get all of mine to 5.?Trying to get my Brisa Set to 5 slot for each unit but it's a pain, even when using 30% Ability Boosts, freaking waste of cube and cash on 4 slot units for parts. The Affix calculator says that when all 5 are at 90%, that I have above 50% chances to win. So far, 1 success out of 6 tries, 100 cubes down the garbage.

Besides waiting to see if we're gonna get a boost week in July, is there another trick to this, something else I'm not using? I learned last month that you can use Triboosts with Rare Drop Boosts, so maybe there's someone else that I haven't tried for adding abilities. I fail to see how everyone in PSO2 wait for a boost week to make 5 slot units.

Stat ups are rarely a good idea unless on specialized sub builds. If it were a choice between those two you'd be better off taking crit.

Not that crit is that great an idea in the first place.
Unless you're a fighter main, a bouncer main/sub, or a gunner main, crit skills are usually a waste of your time.

As someone who dislikes extending weapons, I recommend you to either switch to decent uncrafted weapons or to 10/11* extended weapons, as those gain dex bonuses to help offset that damage variance.

I'm having a lot of trouble finding a good reason to trade Niren Kamui 11* TD for any other TD available. 700 s-atk + black heart tends to make it more powerful than the strongest 13*. Not to mention one can craft it for another 50 s-atk.

That being said, what am I missing here? Whats the most powerful TD in the game to use as a Fi/Hu? I'm honestly tired of this dagger >.>

Niren Kamui has an effective S-ATK of 1447 counting element and potential. Ideal would have 1467 without the potential active. It's weaker than the weakest 13*, so...yeah.

Get some 13*s.

btw don't craft Niren Kamui. You gain 50 S-ATK but the damage variance increases by like, 5+%. Not remotely worth the effort.

So is there a way to reset the camera or snap it with you as the focus? When using daggers or boots, dashing to things in the air sometimes brings the camera with me. Most of the time it doesn't so the focus is off and I can't really see myself. Moment gale(the aoe one) seems to always adjust the camera but the others only do it like 20% of the time. Any ideas? It would be nice to be able to see when fighting things in the air for once.

It's a question of do you have the grinders to go without?

That's 21 grinders, or two weeks on zeig COs on one character (or one week of two characters assuming you have two lvl60+), and you have to unlock potential sooner or later.

Chances are you have more meseta to burn than lambda grinders.

I do grind skip-> 3 30% grind boosts myself.

I find that 200 lambda grinders is what you need to get a weapon to +40 reliably with some fails. This is about 66 grinds, and at 200,000 meseta each, that's only like 15M.

4 skips at 300,000 meseta per AC item is already 24M, and that's not accounting the cost for getting to +10 after +7.

I've ground a lot of 13★ to +40, and I can safely say it's far cheaper to go up manually than use skips. I've used skips before, but only because I was running out of grinders and it always cost more.

I remember getting for example Soul/Pow III and feeling content with a new piece until a boost week where I may luck out and get some 3s and 4s. Now I see people talk like 5s and 6s is piss easy or common and to myself I think like what sort of godly torture are you all putting yourselves through at Dudu for this to be common.

1. You're either hunting rares from Ultimate (or badges from the Limited Quest, as it is now) or doing Emergency Quests. There's Kuroto COs and Daily Orders for some guaranteed meseta, which people also do.

2. AQs are really just for levelling in VH. There's a welfare weapon set from SHAQs now that costs a lot of stones and is all class. They are pretty powerful for guaranteed weapons. EQs are still the main attraction of PSO2 though, giving the most amount of cubes and EXP for sure. EQs are also the only place for a lot of 12*s, but the majority of them are not worth wasting your time for.

3. Ultimate drops the best 13*s, but nobody cares about that and just want the guaranteed 13*s from Shii (which are obtained by getting badges from the Limited Quest).

4. 5-6s is piss easy now because of the 5-fodder update. For a full set of 140 attack during boost week (with either HP or PP, depends on your soul/affix usage), it's only gonna cost around 100M and hopefully last you for a long while, since SEGA generally doesn't release unit sets very fast anymore.

Level cap is pretty much the same, TD and Magatsu I guess. You'd have to ask someone who cares about endgame content though.
AQs now allow you to spend extra caps to increase the risk and SH AQs now go up to level 80. There's some new 12*(?) weapons (purple versions of the XQ weapons, and still allclass) you can get with the large AQ stones (15 for one with 20% element iirc).
Most EQs now go up to Extra Hard difficulty and have new drops so they're still relevent... I think.
UQs are pretty much just for drops and unlocking fusion techs, mainly 13* weapons. They're not very good for leveling because the mobs take a while to kill (as in the don't get oneshot :U ), and they don't give much more exp and VH, you'd be better off leveling in AQs. Z-0 says VH AQs are still better for leveling at any level because of how much squishier the mobs are compared to level 80 ones in SH.
You can now use 5 fodders instead of just 3. The cost of the actual affixing goes up a LOT when you use more than 3, but it's probably cheaper, or at least more reliable, than making really complicated fodders. You can also use fodders that have more affixes (but not less) than the gear you're affixing.

1) Ultimate Quests are pretty much active 24/7.

2) AQs are relevant for acquiring fodder to sell. Modulator and Apprentice Soul (drops from Apprentice Doppelganger, +40 to all ATK and boosts Modulator affix rates) are good for this. Magatsu EQ is the main relevant one, drops a good 20+ cubes per run and some good 12*s like the Evil series weapons (mainly the WL, katana, rod, and JBs).

3) Ultimate quests give relatively poor EXP, but drop 10*s somewhat frequently. The main reason to run them is the 13*s. Anga Fundarge drops Ares series weapons, while Slave series weapons are area drops for Ultimate Lilipa. Slave series weapons can also be acquired through trading in a stone from Ultimate Lilipa. 1 stone per S clear, plus some stones from title rewards. Trade-ins have 15 fire element and require 250 stones each.

4) You can affix using five different fodder in addition to the target now, plus some affix buffs here and there, like Fever affixes having a 100% base success rate with just 1 Fever.

Lackluster compared to Ideal and Slave but im getting one anyways, figured 2 weeks more or less worth of grinding would net me a 60 elem 13* (´・ω・`).
For pot I would stay away from Sword, Dagger, Knux, Rifle, Rod and Talis since they only increase your dmg by 1% and reduce your PP consumption by 6% at level 1. The rests are much more balanced (4%/4% at level 1) but they are still sub-par compared to other 13*s pots.

Since they are the weakest both in terms of damage boost and in terms of attack stat among the 13* weapons, they're better off used to attribute grind the other 13*s. LOL

Well, yeah. Ideally, you shouldn't be grinding yozakura weapons in the first place, since they suck compared to any other 13* series. Regardless, in this case, each level of grinding gives the same increase (technically a tiny bit less, but that's not the point), so the unwillingness to not grind for lv2 and lv3 for such a small gain should also make such a person not want to grind for the first level, either. So based on your logic that those last two +10s for 1% each are not worth it, the first level shouldn't be bothered with as well, so why did you even list 1% at all?

Regardless of all of that, when a person asked how much a potential gives, usually they only care for the maximum value in order to compare to others, so it's pointless to answer using values for lv1.

It was clearly my fault not listing the pots at level 3, and yes its true that I wont bother grinding some of Xie's 13*s past +10 since their pots are not worth it unless they belong to the 6%/6% group. Well in my defense I wanted to illustrated how shitty one of the 2 pots is so I figured why not list them at level 1 to make them look even more shitty .

because those costume and LA are far more important, right :^)
Actually I'm just not very efficient at making phat stash of meseta.

Oh, so this is what this "Same" check mark is for on the Affix simulator. Well I technically have 2 Brisa arms and legs, so I would just 1 more of each to make it work (the Rear part I got lucky, made it to 5).

I stopped playing the game shortly after 13* were first introduced, and am just recently back. I currently have a Psycho Wand as my main weapon, without proper affixes. Based on what I'm seeing of the event weapons from Xie, it would be a better idea to properly affix the Psycho Wand instead of getting the 13* Rod. Would this be the correct choice?

The short and the long of it is this:
You craft a data dive/recipe for a timed ability that is bound to a specific planet and mission type (ARKS Quest, Free Fields, etc.); this drive can have a variety of special abilities from HP restore to Rare Drop Rate boost, and the ability is selected at random upon crafting the data drive, though there is a daily featured ability that has a higher chance of being created. You can recreate the data drive as many times as you want, and once you have one that you like, you can keep it indefinitely, unless you override it with another of the same type (ie. you can only have one rear data drive recipe at a time, and installing a new one makes you lose the previous one).
Once you have a data drive with the ability you want, you then craft the consumable item that allows you to add that ability to your units. The ability will then stay active on your unit for 7 days (14 if you got a Great Success), or until it is overridden.

Max Level is 75. It would be easier to level if you had Tri Boosts, EXP Boosts and whatnot. Just get your Daily Boost to 30% and spam Limited Quest. With EXP Boosts and doing EQs, I got 75 / 75 on my first two Classes within 100 hours played on my new character. It will take you longer, but if you find people to do it with, a full party is 40% extra EXP.

50% attribute = 50% of weapon base ATK is added as Light-type ATK.

In the case of 13*, they go to 60%.

Hey! just registered since I'm running into this problem..
I attempted the captcha around 5 times, and I got locked out of the site somehow? Whenever I try to go back to the registration page I get a 403 error telling me I'm forbidden from accessing the site..

Is this a permanent error? Will I be able to come back tomorrow and try again or am I essentially fucked?

Thanks. I put just one point into S-atk up 1, and that was enough to unlock the other skill I mentioned.

Is it just me or is the EXP gain in this LQ seems quite meh compared to the last one? Not counting the EXP from Vibrace which was justr a treat on it's own.

I'm sure by design LQ isn't meant to be exactly targeted at EXP gain only but compared to the others this one seems quite lacking a bit.....

Don't know about the EXP, but I can tell you that the cash is great. Putting aside the cheap rares that you can sale, I make an average of 40K per round on XH with only the Daily Boost to help out for Meseta. It takes about 15 minutes in a full MPA, so that's like 100K in less than an hour. 2 hours per days gets you 2.24M per week (give or take 100K). Add this to your dailies and weekly TACOs and that's a lot of cash for the upcoming boost week.

Well I technically have 2 Brisa arms and legs, so I would just 1 more of each to make it work (the Rear part I got lucky, made it to 5).

99% is great in my book, thanks you, you've been much helpful :)I guess for Brisa, in time, you can get much more than you'll ever need so doing the same fodder method isn't so bad for it. But 90% x5 is truly over 50% success, so if you only succeeded once in 6 tries, then it was just really bad luck. I would personally just try it some more with more excubes. Magatsu gives excubes like crazy, so in the time it takes you to try to hunt for the third Brisa pieces, you can already get enough excubes to attempt the upgrade at 5x90% multiple times.


Personally, even 3% doesn't sound too hot to me either.
3% less PP cost is like, what... it rounds off to the lowest value too, doesn't it?
I can't imagine how insignificant -3% PP cost would be.Not sure where you're getting 3% PP cost reduction from. It's either 6% or 10% cost reduction for the new 13*. But nonetheless, they are pretty lackluster, so I wouldn't bother using them.

So far it seems the lq launcher, sword and gs are the only weapons that are a noticeable improvement from 11*s. Are any other weapons also better? Or is it really just any weapon which doesn't have a 20% pot?

Has the game been noticably more laggy for anyone else over the last few days? I seem to be getting 630'd more often and getting a lot more lag spikes and just want to know if anyone else is experiencing the same as my connection seems alright outside of PSO2.

This last magatsu was super laggy the whole time. Way more then normal for me. The lq has been a bit laggy as well. Something is definitely up.

If you mean the one that right after that Boosted White Day 3 (from the Stream Event), that magatsu was one of the smoothest/lagfree ones I've personally ever done. And I have plenty of experience with Lagatsu & his magical slippery platforms. :nono:

Yeah thats the one. Missed so many wbs due to mag teleporting so much. Part 2 way lagging like crazy as well.

On a side note mag lag is why I don't play melee for that eq anymore.

Doesn't. It does matter for Ele Conversion though, i.e. Fo/Br needs the right element, Te/Br and Bo/Br (if you even want to do Bo/Br in the first place) don't.

They'd actually get more runs because if a run takes too long, they won't have time to finish extras for more Phase 2, netting them less things overall. I'm sure if runs end up taking too long, people try again, and if the second (or third) run yields no result, just do 4 normal and get 4 XH Phase 2 instead of 2 extremely painful and unfun XH Phase 1s (followed by 2 XH Phase 2s, which is less stuff again since Phase 2 drops more wanted stuff such as the Evil weapons).

Best advice is to stop playing in PUGs. Unless I have a group of friends to play with, I find playing with the common PSO2 user is a waste of time and effort, as it's not very fun to take 25 minutes on Magatsu since that boss is annoying as fuck if it starts walking. Warp, warp, warp, fall, fall, fall, zzzzzzzzzzzzz. Not very fun at all, and not much to boot.

Also remember that Magatsu's HP can be gauged by the points that come up, and I wouldn't be surprised if you've only gotten through like 25% of his HP when people are leaving at the 5 minute mark. (I personally find if 40-50% of HP is not cut through from the triple stun, it's a game not worth playing)

I assume you've just reached 70 on your main and 5x on your sub. If thats correct your equips wouldnt be too hot either and you wouldnt probably be able to carry your own weight, hence people leaving. Pardon me if I was wrong.
Also keep in mind that you theres a huge HP gap between SH and XH difficulty.

This is the first time I've heard of using a Koushousen for the JA pot. Get an x50 fire and unlock to level 3 Fire tech boost potential. Might be good enough if you're running Fire Force. I've seen people use it crafted for Ult, you might want to look into that.

All things said though, I advise you to find a better weapon for XH. There is a large jump in difficulty between SH and XH.

Which is stronger between the new 12* talis from LQ with dark potential or Xie's 13* talis for dar tech usage? Both maxed at lvl3 potential 160+ affix.

Volg Combos that I use:

1) Volg --> PUT (fast damage)

2) Volg --> Sacred Skewer --> PUT

3) Volg --> Sacred Skewer --> Slide End --> Speed Rain (heavy damage on stunned/stationary target).

4) Volg --> Slide End --> PUT (sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't)

I don't think it's worth getting the 13* Partizan from Xie since it's only 3% damage at Lv. 3; it'll be a terrible waste of Lambda Grinders and millions of meseta to grind it and to unlock its potential, in my opinion.

Edit: the only two partizans worth investing millions of meseta into at the moment are Ares and Ideal.

This was the patch team's rationale:


For Zenith Throw, we read the katakana as "Peak Up Throw" which is the technically proper way to read it. We then decided that "peak up" sounds super engrishy and changed it to "Zenith." It is highly possible that they actually meant "Pick-up Throw", though one would expect that to be written a bit differently (ピック versus ピーク).

Is there a knack to Vol Graptor I'm missing? It seems to just disappear entirely instead of planting into the target half the time and it's incredibly frustrating. I swear I've also seen it plain fail to detonate despite my dealing damage to the target and just fade out.

e: Alright half the time is a exaggeration born of frustration, but I would like to know if there's a way to help prevent the former issue from happening. The latter issue is so rare it doesn't really matter.

It's a pretty small projectile with no homing capability, so it's entirely possible to miss if don't fire from point blank range. Also, are you switching weapons before the detonation? You'll lose the shard if you switch to another weapon, even if it's another partisan.

Boss killing. Even as a full S-Atk build, Bow will kill bosses faster than Katana ever can (especially since they nerfed Hatou recently, lol).

I don't recommend 100% Katana because that's just gimping yourself really.

Fos, I don't like how strong they are.

Oh I was just messing with ya. As much as I love FO, they could use a tad of toning down and limit break is just dumb. I will say the fact that katana BR using bows for bossing makes me much more interested in them. The whole "focus everything on one part of the class" thing got dumb after I realized having both fury and guard stance was pointless. Now FI even goes with just brave stance for the most part.

Ideal Bow is the best choice for sure. It's really easy to get since it's guaranteed, and the best boss killing bow in the game.

When using it, you want to do Banish > Kamikaze x2 on bosses (Chase Arrow can be done before things like boss teleporters if you wish). Kamikaze takes striking modifiers so it's no big deal.

Also I think it's much better than BR gets to use bow for something now, instead of only Katana. They're different weapons entirely, used for different situations. That's like telling people not to use Daggers as FI because "Partizan does more single target damage", even though they're used for different things.

Just saying it's fine if someone wants to stick to just katanas. They're are still very good on their own. There are other reasons besides damage that a person could stick to katanas if they want, like actually having a guard, or combat escape.

So what's their reasoning for things like Last Nemesis -> Final Nemesis?
This:

Last Nemesis became Final Nemesis because I thought it sounded better. I don't shy away from changing names when I think they would sound better in English, but I do try and keep the meaning (compare 'Peak Up Throw', the literal Japanese name, with 'Zenith Throw', the name I gave it).

Is it worth upgrading a x31 グラヴィリオス (Gravilios, Ancient Oath pot) to an x30 宵白鳳 (Xie 13* rod)?
The former is fully unlocked already, and I really think I won't be x60ing the Xie rod.

I was thinking I'd just attribute grind the Gravilios instead and use the badges for another weapon...thoughts?

Just saying it's fine if someone wants to stick to just katanas. They're are still very good on their own. There are other reasons besides damage that a person could stick to katanas if they want, like actually having a guard, or combat escape.

And there's no reason you can't use a katana for those situations while using a bow for when it's preferable. And of course katana only is "fine", it's merely fine. There are better ways to play Braver however. Just because Braver isn't a top tier class doesn't mean you shouldn't play it efficiently.

Might as well stick with Gravilios. It would do more damage as long as you were matching weakness anyway.

I have a really quick question about the OTP for PSO2.

What happens if you fail to input the correct OTP 4 times but got it right the 5th time?
Does the OTP reset the failed attempts after you got the correct code? or are you screwed if you don't put the correct code when you log back in?

It's reset to 0 everytime you put the right passcode.
You're only screwed if you used up all of your chance in single trip, which will need you to unlock your ID manually to have it reset again.

I know that running the first round of Magatsu on XH will get you better rares and more stones, but if I were looking only for Cubes, could I get more by doing 4 SH instead of 2 or 3 XH which seems to be the norm on my ship and then do round 2 (AIS) on XH?

If I craft my Saiki Units, can i keep them at Ex Lvl8 or should I MUUUUST get them to Ex Lvl10 ? I don't see a big difference between the two.

most people dont recommend doing lv10 cuz its way too expensive

I stayed at Ex Lv8, the little extra defense is not worth it. Now if they added am extra 5 PP per unit, that would be something else.

@Beatrix Yes, after 26th August you won't be able to trade in your badges for 13* or the coming(in 8th July i think) recolored weapon camos of some 12* (Gravilos, Sarce Punisher.......)

GG updated to be Windows 8.1 compatible just before it launched, so I imagine we'll see the same for Windows 10 happen either July 21st's or 28th's maintenance.

Think i might just farm badges for the rest of the event. exp in LQ seems sort of.....low compared to the usual.

I guess the gain is relatively small compared to the increase in cost, but being a completionist, I figured that since I'm already willing to spend a bunch of meseta on such a thing, I might as well go all the way and get the best thing.

I'll double check once we're back online, but I'm pretty sure that unlocking everything else to get to Special Lv10 when starting from Lv8 will cost you like $15 000 000. If this all you have left to do in the game, go for it, but if that's not the case, you could really put that money to better use IMO.

Four, the first one needs 3 cubes and the rest 6 each.
